August 21, 200322 yr All I know about the playoff schedule is Michigan is scheduled to play the Minnesota Golden Gophers (what a name) at the Metrodome on October 11th - and supposedly if the Twins make the playoffs that would be a playoff home game for the Twins. Miohigan's Coach Carr is refusing to even consider a switch to Friday night the 10th (which means that would not be a home game for the Twins) because of course Friday night is high school night and UM has never favored colleges interferring with that. (We will play the game at home.. or Ford Field... on Saturday... as scheduled... but not on Friday night in the MetroDome. Think anyone will go along with that? ha ha) Now October 11th sounds like a second round thing to me and Minnesota isn't even going to the playoffs but since the MetroDome has tried to tell Michigan it may switch the date for the football game and Michigan has said no way, that is now all I know about the playoff schedule.
August 21, 200322 yr I just know if the Sox end up playing the A's or maybe even the Mariners I'll make a drive up if I can get tickets. And if they make the series, I'm flying out

I know there's a law that congress passed a long time ago that prohibits the NFL from playing on Fridays because of highschool games. There's probably too many college teams for it to be feasible to do with them.
August 22, 200322 yr When it's all said and done the Big 10 will force Michigan to play on Friday in Minneapolis. Lloyd Carr......what a whinner. :finger
