It's coming out in May, it's going to be a Disney movie, so it's going to have that feel like "The Rookie" (Dennis Quaid) or Miracle or whatever, but it's based on a true life story. I remember reading about the two Indian cricket players signed by the Pirates, but here it is on film. Something like a cross between Slumdog Millionaire and another minor league baseball movie named "Sugar" about a Dominican kid dealing with life in the Midwest.

Singh looks like he has a shot, he put up decent numbers in the South Atlantic League. Still with the Pirates organization.

Has anyone ever seen him pitch?

It would be pretty amazing to see the first Indian player in the majors...Bud Selig would approve, with his globalization push.

Never seen Singh pitch, but seems like a cool movie! Big fan of Jon Hamm too ;) Looking forward to check it out!
