Wait till Hummel plays a bit in the majors to say that. Also, I wasn't saying anything about the trade. He was a player I'd like to see with the sox, but the HR is still worthy of mention.

There is always going to be analysis of trades that we make. Heck many people still obsess about Wells and Co.

I like Sullivan too, but Hummell is a good player and I am sorry to see him with the Reds.

We've given up some pretty good prospects in my opinion this year. Ring, Webster, And now Hummel. I hope it's all worth it in the end...

at the game saturday in Ann Arbor, my football bud (who is from Cincinnati) kept going on and on about how great Sullivan is and how p.o.ed the Red players are and as the guy is a librarian who reseaches out of nespapers, I have a ton of newspaper clippings on the subject so I feel better about the trade -

 

but I wish Hummel well as I do for most players we trade away
