Day off for Abreu. Ventura thought he looked a little slow so it's just a breather.

Flowers' wife had a baby after last night's game. He won't start but is expected be here at game time.

    Abreu has some stiffness/soreness in back. Minor, Ventura said. Should be back tomorrow. Avail to pinch hit tonight.
