Hall of Fame has announced players will only be on the ballot for 10 years, not 15.

 

Mattingly, Trammell, and Lee Smith will be grandfathered, and stay on for 15.

    I like this. I never understood how a player got more votes and support the closer he got to the end of the 15 years. Either you are a Hall of Famer or not
