I realize he is quite old, but he doesnt appear to have lost any effectiveness since joining the mlb. Does anyone else feel like this could be a smart under the radar signing? A lot of teams will be focusing on Miller and Robertson which will make them pretty expensive, he might be able to be had for cheap if you can beat Boston out for him.

No thanks. He's old and fragile, and also won't come cheap. If Boston let you beat their offer, that means they also don't trust his health.
