September 10, 200322 yr With another (tough) lefty tonight, and a tough righty tomorrow, who will JM start at second and short tonight? My guess is he starts Jose at ss and Graf at 2nd, to let Robbie be fresh for tomorrow's afternoon game. Your thoughts?

You gotta win tonight's game, worry about tomorrow when it's here. I go with the same lineup we saw last night, maybe I throw in Miguel behind the plate in case the Twinkies get any ideas of running.
September 10, 200322 yr I like the idea of Miggy -- although Santana an excellent breaking ball and we know how he fares against the curveball in the dirt. I'd expect Robbie to rest either today or tomorrow. Makes sense to rest him today against the lefty, although I don't know what his numbers are against Santana. those stats will tell the story

This is a biggy.
September 10, 200322 yr Every game the rest of the way is a biggy But this one truly is big have a chance to: A) beat their best starter. B) make sure the Twins leave town AT LEAST two games behind C) pump up Garland's confidence D) get your team juiced for the six-game road trip E) flush the memory of JM's Tuesday night Jose Paniagua Brain Cramp out of your system. F) all of the above Let's Do It
September 10, 200322 yr Seem to remmeber Manuel saying that Robbie doesn't like to play in a day game after a night game. Means he might play tonight and sit tomorrow? But, I would think a lefty pitcher means either Robbie or Jose sit and Graffy starts for one or the other. Graffy will sub for someone during the next 2 games count on that, which game probably doesn't matter.
