and it appears that they will be staying there for another couple years, although nothing is official. Their contract ran out at the end of the season.

 

Winston Salem was where the White Sox high A Ball Team resided.

Winston-Salem is a great place for these young Sox to develop. A nice park, good following of fans as well as prime location with the other Sox affiliates in the North Carolina area.

Thats good news. Hopefully this next season will have a much better outcome record wise cause I know I got sick of having to write about them losing in almost every recap I wrote.

lol chris good point they save on travel expenses sending guys up and down.....i really enjoyed myself last year when i visited winston-salem.. its a very nice park and your right about the fan base.. they have alot of regulars there..

You will have to let me know when you visit the Triad area. It is always good meeting other Sox fans. Especially in this area. Too many Braves, O's and Yankee fans.

 

Where did you stay when you were here last? I know a few people at local hotels to save you some money next time. Unless you have family or friends here.

actually i was at a cousin of mine house.... i have people all over down south.....thanks for the offer though.. and for sure when im down there next time ill gladly let you know so we can take in a game.....
