The Parque-haters have been vocal for awhile now cw. Butter really turned off alot of fans when the Sun-Times printed that Butter-b****-Fest when he was in the White Sox minor league system. Butter's, "whoa is me..... I've done everything they wanted me to, but I'm still in the minor leagues when I should be in the Major Leagues, what else do I have to do?", while only being able to go 5-6 innings in the minor leagues with an astronomical ERA", pissed off alot of Sox fans. Then to come up here and get OWNED by Cameron when he's "ready"? Most Sox fans said, "f*** him" after that. I know I did. sure, but he was a competitor - I'd rather a player say put me out there then I'm not ready. and just to remind everyone: ND=cubs! That was your line of the year! Pretty soon, the ND threads on the Off Topic Board will have more bumps than posts. Failing to acknowledge a ND loss when you're such a diehard ND fan is also very "Cubbish." Like they say, if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Well, when ND gets lucky one week with a comeback against an unranked team then gets their asses handed to them when they play a real college football team, stand up for the team you shoved down our throats for their comeback the week before. Don't disappear "fairweather's." Having said that, ND moved up 5 spots in the rankings last week after squeaking by an unranked team. Michigan moves up 2 spots after beating ND . JM didn't screw anything up in the ALDS as far as I'm concerned. The offense just choked. EXACTLY!!! Anyone remember Thomas whining to the media about having the sun in his eyes while batting during the 2 day games? Shoulda used some of that salary of yours to buy yourself a pair of Oakley's huh? I always liked Sirotka and Parque especially when they were pitching good. Like many players we follow as soon as they go South talent or physically wise we don't like them anymore. Lots of negative posts about Jim and Mike, but they gave it their all for us. Nature of the game is the fact an injury can happen at anytime and just basically ruin a guys career. Pitchers who have arm problems generally take 1/2 to 3 years to recover. I wonder if anyone will give Sirotka and Parque another shot or if they will even want to come back?
