Weird how many people found a common place to go to get masks

I ordered two different sets of masks off Etsy. One on 4/14 that arrived at 4/17 (free shipping to boot). I bought another set the other day and it should be here next week. Reusable and washable masks at the cost of a cheap haircut.

Haven't been on this board in a while. But decided to check in as a temperature check. Like getting a balanced perspective from different groups of people - co workers, friends, small town friends, finance friends, etc.

Reduced down - people are starting to get real antsy. We're in the "are we there yet?" phase. This is a cross country trip from Chicago to LA and we're in Kansas. There's about to be a blown tire, an engine blowout and many more issues along the way. By all accounts - buckle up.

And then we have this waiting for us at the destination

I tried to answer everybody's posts tonight. I think this is the last one. ... No it's not vanity. It's America and I just want a haircut after 3 months. Don't know why you call it bullshit when I told you I've complained some but violated no social distancing requirements at all.

Your barber paragraph is interesting. Rather than re-but it I'll say it makes sense. I'm not so sure me plastering a mask to my face and him wearing a mask or maybe even one of those hasmat helmets would put barber in danger. Your friend makes sense. But does she need $$. She needs to make a living, too, I would think. I know a barbershop owner here desperate. He needs $$$ for his family.

Finally, I don't really understand why liquor stores are open and churches are closed. Oh wait. The state gets tax money off liquor sales. And don't forget the lottery tickets. Also a cynic would say the government is enjoying keeping the churchgoers home. They get nothing from it.

Finally ... Obama golfing ... I read some public official got caught at the beauty salon. Greg has obeyed all rules; many others have not.

Alcohol dependence is a very real thing and hospitals don't need people going through withdrawal filling up their ER

  4. I still think the US should be funding WHO, but they are really doing a terrible job with this. The event they are designed to handle. The absence of leadership is really making this pandemic feel like something out of the middle ages.

We're lucky the mortality rate is as low as it is. For now.

    A serious question from Twitter.

Why are flags not at half mast? Or a week/month of mourning?

The President would have to know what mourning is to order that.

However, I would like them to remain flying high as a symbol of strength/hope. After this is over we can fly them at half mast for period of time for mourning/reflection.

Obviously. It was a dumb ass string of comments and didn't make sense. This is nothing new. You seem to be missing my point, so let me try to be crystal clear this time.

If you deduce that Trump is advising you to shoot up with bleach and you do so, you are a fucking moron and I have zero sympathy.

The sad part is this is something I can easily see Joe Biden saying on accident. The poor guy can barely out coherent sentences together sometimes. It's going to be 4 more years of Trump and this nonsense because Joe freaking Biden managed to win the primary.

Don't forget to bring up Hilary and Obama

If somebody reads into Trump's comments and think "I should shoot up some bleach", they are only speeding up their demise. If you're that fucking stupid, you will find some other way to accidentally kill yourself.

You seem to be missing the point that POTUS shouldn't be saying this stuff in the first place.

Nope. But I think it was over the top when people blamed him for those idiots drinking coy pond cleaner. There are plenty of things to blame him for and hold him accountable for. Blaming him for everything and anything just gives credence to his "fake news" ramblings and makes his supporters believe it even more.

If somebody injected themselves with bleach, it would be absurd to blame Trump.

    >Trump says this thing helps covid-19

    >Supporter does thing because POTUS is pushing it even though he doesn't understand it, and gets hurt/dies

    >People say Trump is responsible for pushing thing not backed/vetted by science

    >Others say: Fake news. This is why people support Trump!

    Politics in 2020 everybody.

It sounds like you're completely for an open borders policy. Do you think we should give immigrants free healthcare as well?

I believe human beings have a right to healthcare.
