Usually do if its going to be a lengthy one. Take a week at each level to gradually work up. deGromm started at A ball this week too.
And WS is an hour drive from Charlotte. Would expect him to spend the weekend there to shake the rust off then join the AAA club til he's ready to get called up

Those poor poor kids
I would've gone with "Mom come pick me up I'm scared" but this was also funny

I am wondering the same thing. In the past everyone does their stint in Charlotte. Are they planning on making him go through Birmingham and Charlotte too? This seems crazy.
DeGrom made a rehab start in A ball this year. I wouldn't look too much into it.

Looks like the starter next Friday will be on schedule to pitch in Iowa on August 12. Kinda feel like Giolito is owed it after last season’s cancellation.
Giolito, Keuchel, Cease, Lynn, Rodon
Good?
You can't really predict who's going to be a starter for a game over a month away

Four years after we traded for him and he's still High A? Yikes..

Codi looked good. Death by bloopers. Could just as easy been a 1-2-3 inning for him

I'm legit shocked.

No one posted the weirdness of this lol

This has been happening quite often lately. They just need to freaking sit him so he gets healthy. I don't give a damn how much he wants to play. He needs to get healthy.
Only took you a minute lol, but I agree. Sit him through the break and let the rooks show their worth.
People love to shit on Moncada for being soft and compare him to Abreu's toughness, but I'd rather have a healthy backup play then going 0-5 in mostly uncompetitive AB's

It’s July 2.
the White Sox are on pace for 98 wins. Jose Abreu, Tim Anderson, Eloy Jimenez, Luis Robert, Lucas Giolito and Yoan Moncada (this one is kind bs he’s been great) are basically ancillary characters on a team that has “no depth”
Look at the scorecard. The reigning MVP was the worst player, and it ended up as a blowout. This is nuts.

I can't believe they let him run after that. What if he had to slide into home?
Legs first, like he should've into 3rd

I don't think I've seen this many non contact injuries on one team in such a short time span.
I'd call that a contact injury

Im hearing the Sox are going to have 18 seconds of silence before the game tonight to commemorate each consecutive postseason loss the Twins have had.

Wonder if Cruz is having a, uh, napping session while his teammate is ranting about cheating in the game
