  1. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Dec 15, 2005 -> 11:41 AM) Just go to the Sox Website...and you can purchase it through MLB. Thanks.
  2. I got the MLB official DVD the other day. It’s very good as well. Where can I order this Comcast DVD?
  3. I just finished reading the article at the Sun-Times website, and I came right over here to see if anyone else had the same reaction. It was surreal, actually. I clicked the article from the Sox page, but while doing other things as I was reading, I completely forgot who wrote it. As I approached the end of the article, I noticed Mariotti’s signature, and I was dumbfounded. Mariotti either had the piece ghost written, or he’s a bonafide schizophrenic. I could get used to reading him if he sticks to this style. No cutesy rhetoric, no childish insults; just intelligent, sensible commentary. I’ll even excuse his fantasy of Juan Pierre bringing a pennant to the North Side.
  4. QUOTE(timotime @ Nov 25, 2005 -> 10:05 AM) tom dorr on 670. What a trip. I went to school with Dore. I’ll never forget it as long as I live. Our first grade teacher at St. John Vianny, Mrs. Kalenowski, used to mark Dore’s growth on the wall. The kid grew an inch a month. His parents bought a house in Franklin Park when he was a freshman so that he could transfer to East Leyden, which had a better basketball program than West Leyden.
  5. Is this the World Series game 3 or the Roy Oswalt show? God I hate Joe Buck.
  6. Holy f***in s***. Take that Joe Buck. Holy f***in s***. Holy s***f***. Holy holy f***in s***.
  7. QUOTE(WinninUgly @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 08:06 PM) I know, but then JD gets another pitch > then walks anyway. Exactly. Wheeler(?) was wild as hell.
  8. “Look at all the controversial rain.” f*** Fox. Strangle Buck. Put McCarver out of his misery.
  9. QUOTE(Spiff @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 09:00 PM) I think Fox said Jenks was 14-12 Yes, I got those numbers from stupid ESPN. I’ve edited the post with the correct numbers. Sox pitchers: 111-77
  10. Sox pitchers: 111 pitches, 77 for strikes. That’s pretty damn amazing. Contreras 81-55 Cotts 16-10 Jenks 14-12 Edit: Now that I think about it, that can’t be right. Jenks threw two balls to Bagwell. Stupid ESPN. Edit #2: I’ve corrected ESPN’s bogus numbers. (These are from SI, and look to be correct.)
  11. Great game! God awful announcers. “A.J. steps into the batter’s box. It’s another controversy!” Three more. (Lidge who?)
  12. There are plusses and minuses to each team. Pujols or Oswalt? (Etc.) I really don’t care. The Sox beat the crap out of Boston and Anaheim. Whoever it is, bring ’em on.
  13. I like how Tadahito just laughed it off.
  14. f*** the umps. Anyone who can’t see which is the better team needs to have his head examined.
