  1. The 9th rounder, OF David Cook is on Great Falls roster too, and the 4th rounder, the SS from Miami, Valido, is on Bristol roster.
  2. All the way up to .305 now. 65-213 with 18 doubles, a triple, 7 homers, 35 RBI, 4 steals, 3 CS, .390 OBP and .498 Slugging Perc., 29 BBs and 35 Ks
  3. He is not what you would call a great prospect, more of a guy who does not look like he is accomplishing alot, but in the end he has pretty good results and seems to get a lot of big hits. I like him, have spoke with Rex about him several times, guess he is not quick nor big, but just seems to get it done. Maybe does not play too great of D either, at least range-wise. Seems to be a leader and gets it done, I like this kind of guy.
  4. Did Wylie get pulled due to pitch count I hope?
  5. Almonte continues to get ripped, his stats are getting downright ugly. Glad Ginter was moved to closer. 8. Thanks fellas for checking in, but you have to admit, with Brian repeating AA I expected at least as good a season as last year, not sure that has happened yet. Want to ask Brian, seems like you throw a couple good innings and start getting hit a bit harder, you are a big guy and if you have a heavy sinking fastball have you ever considered switching to the pen.
  9. Picked up by Tampa Bay.
  10. Yes, I think they sometimes take players who are not as highly rated a prospect and move them around more than jerking a high grade prospect from level to level for a week or two. Makes sense I guess. Must mean Neil is not in too bad a shape, Bullard mentioned that too, that Neil was precautionary.
  11. O'Neil has done nothing to deserve a callup. Jeesh, look at his BBs ratio. Horrible
  12. We can make any comments we want. I saw West up close in a scrimmage against DBacks and Schilling this spring. Far from dynamite stuff. He looked ok, but did not have anything close to the stuff I had heard he had. Just my honest opinion, and I am a fan and can make that statement (and no, I cannot help coach any prospect, cause I cannot teach that kind of talent).
  13. I would bet Wing or Allen get promoted ahead of Honel, due to age. Rex, what have you heard on Cotts?
  14. Sorry if already discussed, I have been working too much and took a small break. Not sure who was promoted to Birm from Winston-Salem, but Castro was promoted from Kannapolis to Winston-Salem as part of the musical chairs. Now 3 LHs from Barons rotation on DL, Malone, Ulacia and Cotts.
  15. I just knew someone would get worried over that one. I thought for a second and then immediately looked and other starting pitcher was same thing and then I remembered it was a suspended game.
  16. I think this one is spelled Shafer isn't it?
  17. thanks JTC, appreciate the kind words :-)
  18. All the box scores in the other thread I put out this morning, titled boxes for minor league games or something like that
  19. Hopefully fill up on JC kids for draft and follow reasons (and HS kids who go to JC).
  20. Holt should not even be in our top 50, he should never have been asked for in Foulke trade. Francisco is doing better, but overated here as is West.
  21. Porzio is ok, but you have to realize we picked him up as a 6 year Minor League Free Agent, there is not a lot of people going crazy to pick him up. But he is serviceable and if someone needs a LH he could help.
  22. About time they moved Ginter to closer role and took the bum Almonte out, he has sucked all season, even when getting saves he was struggling.
  23. How goes it UNS, long time no chat buddy. I see Hummel at Kannapolis finally blew a save.
  24. Nope, Yan needs to play AA before AAA in my honest opinion. Move Sandoval up to AAA.
