I sent an email to cancel to the listed address today but never got a confirmation back or anything. I was assuming it would be an automated thing, but I guess not. I don't know about the trial, but when I cancelled last year, before the playoffs, it took a few days to get a response. But I didn't have any problems with it, in the end.
