FWIW it is peggy kusinski's son though
thought he was the guy that had the scoop on the Pederson deal last offseason that, in turn, killed the deal.

But someone who writes for Future Sox said he would be a White Sox player by Thanksgiving. Morosi HAS TO BE WRONG, hes already ours. Just waiting for the press release.
I mean, the MLB video says 1 of the 3 lol. Reading is a skill.

Reynaldo Lopez is one of the best 15 starting pitchers in the AL?
he's not one of the best 15 pitchers in the organization. lol..small exaggeration, but you get my point..

And yet, a guy who is below average on almost everything, who is young, cheap, and throws 180+ innings is a 2 fWAR pitcher and a great thing to have at the back side of a rotation.

267th in baseball in average active spin rate.Unless he overhauls things majorly, this is just who he is imo.

No chance should the Sox give up on Reynaldo Lopez.
Despite his ERA and FIP not being great, he increased his K-rate (generated more swings and misses, just inconsistently from start to start) and decreased his walk rate. He is trending in the right direction. They need to untap the potential he shows in his huge games every single start, but the talent is very clearly there.
other than faseball velocity his metrics are flat out awful. awful spin rate on all of his pitchers. below average on literally everything.

I'm not understanding this urgency to get 2 vs 1. Get the best one you can pay for and I'm fine with Giollito, FA, Cease, Lopez, and Kopech (with whatever fill in you want early in the year)
Well, for me, it's because I would much rather not have the name lopez listed in my starting 5...

Ah, I usually pay for it. Won 1st in a big baseball money league and placed 2nd in a football one last year. More than paid for the account cost.
I'm definitely considering it. It's either that or put the work in and create my own rankings using fangraphs zips projections and zscore.

I usually use FantasyPros for anything fantasy related.

I usually do as well, but to customize league settings you do have to have the premium account unfortunately.

Hey everyone,
Does anyone have a good website or excel file they have used in the past to determine player auction values based on league parameters?
Thanks!

It's not HUGE. my goodness. Yes it allows the Phillies to spend more on a team around Bryce without hitting the tax. It's a win win for the player and team.
and that is exactly why it's huge. what's so hard to understand?

This makes it worse with the no opt outs. 13 years doesnt matter. 10 or 13 is all semantics. Anyone that believes the Dodgers offered 10 years now are smoking something good.
13 does matter. it takes the AAV from 33 mm to around 25mm. HUGE for luxury tax implications

FUCK THE WHITE SOX
13 years?!?!?!
edit:
and there are no opt outs.
FUCK THIS

only 330? honestly, why do we even care?

If they don't sign Machado. Harper makes Pederson very redundant
why? pederson > jay, palka, etc

If Dodgers land Harper, I will see you guys and gals in the Pederson to Whitesox discussion next only to see Pederson go to Indians smh. I blame Frank Thomas, Robin Ventura and Wilson Alvarez in the 90’s for drawing me into this team fandom.
there is zero point for the white sox to trade anything for pederson if they don't sign one of the big fish this offseason.

Sounds more like his opinion, but he did have legit scoop earlier in the offseason. This offseason is certainly not turning out the way I pictured it.
How does this sound more like his opinion lol? He literally says "source".

Totally saw this coming.
Check out @SchinstalksSox1’s Tweet:
This guy broke it yesterday and has had legit insider info. He also broke then signing another outfielder after ervin Santana. He says the Sox are waiting until the final bid requests come in to make their move. Hence them being "out". Going to try to pull what the Padres did to them
Who is this guy?

Arenado would have looked great in a Sox uniform.
If the Sox are hellbent on getting a 3B, Ryan McMahon just became very available....
ehhh. him sticking at 3b is questionable
