That said, his BABIP is .037. That is about as low as I have ever seen. He's had a lot of luck so far but when you throw strikes and put the pressure on the hitter good things happen.
So you’re saying he’s not likely to keep up the 0.87 H/9 rate?

I'm not the OP but apparently what you would get in return means nothing or how much gas Rodon may have left in the tank ? Just, but he's our best pitcher . Brilliant discussion. I don't think I have heard that enough yet this thread can someone else please say it . I might have enough meatballs for a spaghetti dinner.
Usually the simplest is the most correct. Trading Rodon at this juncture would be a straight up tank move

I’d use him as a 2 inning opener for Keuchel for a few starts then ramp him up to 85-90 pitches by sometime in September for his last three or four starts

The only problem is it says Hertz Boston.
That and dude looks nothing like Escobar.

The first thing I do when trying to win a world series is look to see if I can’t trade my best pitcher. See if we can get a couple good utility players

True...but with our current DH problem I would give Burger a shot, Burger has a higher value to us than anyone else would be my guess.
Why not Sheets? Burger has out slugged him but Sheets BB and K rates are better, BA/OBP are marginally better plus he's a lefty hitter

Castellanos was practically a bust prior to going to the Cubs.
He had an 830 ops and 193 extra base hits the three years prior to going to the cubs

That can’t be right

Yusmeiro Petit at five? I think that system has some kinks that need worked out

I don’t think Cespedes is the level of prospect that you don’t acquire players in order to avoid blocking, when in window of contention. Sox aren’t rebuilding anymore

I haven’t bought music in quite a while either, but I have been listening to Tuvan music recently. From the central Asian Russian republic of Tuva. This stuff is wild. There’s a ton on Spotify but Sainkho Namtchylak is a good place to start if you want to listen to something different:

I'd like nothing more than to get banned but the mods won't do it, even though I've asked multiple times. I waste way too damn much time on here.

Engel has four stolen bases in seven games at Charlotte. If his legs are good enough to be stealing bases at AAA, why isn’t he on the big team?

Thanks for proving my point.
Your critical thinking skills are lacking if you think that proves your point. Because Grandal is the worse possible to hit and run with doesn’t mean the Sox shouldn’t hit and run with other batters

Fans are just so fickle. WHY DONT WE EVER DO THIS?!?! FUCK THE MANAGER. WAIT, DON'T DO IT LIKE THAT! FUCK THE MANAGER.
This happens with every fan base. I realize it's not just Sox fans.
A hitter like Grandal is not the type to hit and run with it’s not that hard to figure out.

it's just dumb running there down 1 with Grandal at the plate.
True odds are he’s going to walk, K or hit a home run. Pointless in each case
1 minute ago, Capn12 said:Yeah, that is on Yas. He left Yoan hung out to dry on a pitch down the cock, he didn't even bother to swing.
Grandal is the last person that should be at the plate for hit and run. Makes no sense whatsoever. That’s on TLR

What the H, Moncada??

Stupid. That was a great matchup for Mendick

That’s alright Sox will get to their bullpen. Skubal was nasty but luckily for us inefficient
