  1. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 16, 2007 -> 01:32 PM)
    I'm not sold on Zeller either, and I can't see him going anywhere but Purdue.

    I'd be happy with a swap of Dunigan's and Zeller's spots on your list.

    I don't particularly want Zeller, but I've heard IU interest is high and they really want him. I'd be more happy with Dunigan or Simpson. Both are better equipped for the grind it out style of the Big 10. I think if we land Ebanks, we're out of it for Green and Jones. I'd definitely take either Harris or Jackson, but we'll probably have Armon for 4 years and Gordon, Ellis, Crawford, Mackey (2008-2009) and Jones (2008-2009) should be able to play some point. Don't see a huge need for a point so I think that's why those guys are less of a priority.

    And with all the recruits we're talking to with the 2008 class, I really hope we just keep his scholarship in our pocket for next year.

    Agree totally, this now gives us 3 available scholly's for the 2008 class in addition to Jones and Mackey. Could be more if EJ goes pro early. Anyhow, here is how I see the scholarships being prioritized for the '08 class.

    Top priorities for the 3:

    1. Devin Ebanks

    2. Angel Garcia

    3. Tyler Zeller (I'm not really sold on him)

    Tier 2:

    Michael Dunigan, Stan Simpson, Dashan Harris, Lewis Jackson, Kevin Jones, Draymond Green.

    Low level priority but we may have interest:

    Jason Washburn, Miles Plumlee, Kyle Kuric

    No minimum, but points. Lotta gift card options that work with it though, usually I cash them in for Foot Locker or Target and it basically works just like cash.

    Nice, sounds solid.

  4. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 15, 2007 -> 08:04 PM)
    I'm using a Citibank Diamond Preferred Rewards mastercard. 5% back on Grocery, drug store, & convenience store/gas purchases, 1% back on everything else.

    And yes, I've never held a balance.

    Are there minimum spend numbers you have to meet in order to get the 5%?

    Also, do you get cash back or points?

  5. What do you use?

    Currently I get 3% back on gas and grocery purchases (also fast service food which I never charge) and 1% back on all other purchases using a rewards card with Chase. I was using the Amex Blue cash which paid cash rewards but to get to the higher levels of cash back you had to spend upwards of $6,500 a year which I don't do.

    Of course the key to any of these is paying off your balance each month in full otherwise you're doing yourself more harm than good.

    Anyhow, interested to see if anyone is doing a cash rewards program and what kind of results you are getting.

    You know what? If im that age and im alone and rich, I dont give a s*** if a young hot piece of tail wants to marry me or even just f me for the money. I take what I can get at that point, and if its top shelf ass, so be it.

    Agree completely, I'd just let her know she's not getting it all, only a set amount when I pass on.

  7. I agree with Nuke on this. The liberal media takes anything that happens that could possibly be against a certain group of people and makes it a huge s***storm. Its to the point where certain groups are given special protection from any criticism towards them but when something happens toward the so-called "majority" (which in reality is now becoming the minority), nothing is done. IMO its bulls*** and the liberal media is to blame for a lot of the crap news stories that now come out that claim "discrimination" is going on.

    http://www.chicagohoops.com/articles1/fruendtnw.html

    That's a GREAT get for Northwestern, Fruendt is a really good ballplayer, impressive to see in person. I also believe he's a 150 player on Rivals, first time I can remember Northwestern getting one of those since uber bust Michael Thompson transferred in from Duke. They also had a nice 2007 class and got a verbal a couple of days ago from a 2008 guy. Carmody FINALLY getting some players, they already have Coble who I really like and Nash is at least a highly regarded kid.

    Solid pickup indeed.

  9. QUOTE(mreye @ May 11, 2007 -> 01:02 PM)
    Yes, STEPmother. I don't think they ever got along very well.

    There's talk of him going to RCR and driving his Dad's #3.

    I heard a mention today of the following taking place:

    - A deal between RCR and DEI that would do the following: Allow Jr to take the #8 car to RCR and in turn, Theresa Earnhardt gets the right to sell memorabilia using the #3 car likeness, which is owned by RCR. Who knows if that would ever happen but its interesting indeed.

  10. QUOTE(Wanne @ May 11, 2007 -> 01:29 AM)
    Sorry...maybe it's just me...but the most I'd pay for that thing is MAYBE 20 bucks. I just don't see it as that big a piece of memorabilia. Hell...the front page of the newspaper or sportspage framed from that day is more cool IMO. It just looks and seems kinda cheesy. That's just me though...

    Let's see, its from a pretty rare feat, a no-hitter, limited to 56 and on a black leather ball, I'm guessing it's probably worth more than 20, but to each his own.

  11. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ May 10, 2007 -> 07:34 PM)
    I'm guessing there are only 56 of them and that is the 10th one.

    The promotion code [670THESCORE] has already been entered.

    :huh :huh:

    When I ordered, it was already applied on the website, maybe you can call them.

  12. QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 10, 2007 -> 07:29 PM)
    by now, yes. That was his father's master plan, too bad his mother is a money grubbing biatch.

    Isn't it his stepmother?

    I'm fairly certain she is, no mother would do that to her son, just a money grubbing stepmom.

  13. QUOTE(whitesox61382 @ May 10, 2007 -> 02:09 PM)
    Thats what I thought, but Aboz made it sound like Crawford being redshirted would free up a scholarship to offer Hamga.

    I think Holman going to prep school or Shaw transferring would be the only way to free up a spot for Hamga. I was wrong about the redshirting freeing up a scholly, it doesn't.
