  1. Split it in half (or more) dont even f*** around with deconding/compression, there's to much crap to worry about and you'll totally destroy the quality . That Avi Spit cal works great, all it takes is a couple of clicks.

I use VD all the time and its great, the CD's aren't DVD quality, but there better then a VCR tape.

One you split it all you need is a burning program with a MPEG2 decoding plug in... and bam you got yourself a CD that will pay in any DVD player.

  2. Maggs will be the middle of the order guy in Chicago for quite a while....atleast 5 more years....and hopefully more like 10.  If the Sox signed him to a 10-year deal after 2004....with him earning about the same each year....that'd be great.

That's one thing i'm really scared about, if he kills the ball the next 2 years he's gonna want 15-16 mil a year and would the Sox's be willing to pay that?

  3. Torii seems like a nice guy to me, last time i was at a Twins/Sox's game he must have signed 50-60 autographs and was really nice to the fans.

But you gotta keep your priorities straight so f*** Torii and f*** the Twins :fyou

  4. Well hes almost 25. So how long should he wait? We dont want to keep him down there forever. He needs to see MLB playing time to gain any experience...

Yeah, but if you turn him into a spot starter/middle reliever for the first 55 games it could seriously screw him up. The way i see it he's the best 5th starter we have, but only if he get's to start every 5th (or 6th) day. Other then that he's better off in AAA until we can give him that 5th spot every time out.

  5. Every day it seems like one of the veterans will get the job. JM keeps saying that the 5th starter needs to be both a reliever and a starter, this being the reason i don't think Rauch really has a chance, he's too big of a prospect to be messed around in that way. I'll say its a 90% chance Rauch starts the season in AAA. After the 55 games if Rauch is throwing well or if who ever is pitching sucks we'll see Rauch back up in the majors.

  6. After hitting just .235 with 14 homers and 50 RBIs through the first half of the season, Valentin finished the season strong, hitting .282 with 11 homers and 25 RBIs during the final two months. Perhaps even more significant, the White Sox were 31-16 (.660) when he started at shortstop last season.

Lets hope those numbers carry over. If you look over the last 3 season, the Sox's have been a very good team with Jose at short and he's put up much better numbers at short...

    Hopefully this trend continues...
