  1. I'm not sure of Terry's thought process here
  2. I swear, cubs fans will clap at anything. Maddon could pee on the mound and they will go nuts.
  3. I might put the radio on. The shots of the crowd are making me barf.
  4. QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 08:48 PM) WTF? That's some s*** Joe West would do. West is a jagoff
  5. Bye Kyle. Grab some bench.
  6. Walk. Come on Cleveland. Take advantage.

  12. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 08:02 PM) Typical Cub fan They only look when the crowd cheers.
  13. I'm at work party full of cubs fans. Half of them aren't even paying attention to the game.
  14. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 07:55 PM) Tomlin is getting squeezed to the point that they aren't calling those ridiculous balls Hendricks got but he just has to be consistent, that's all. Rooting for you to win your bet.
  15. Cleveland hitting the ball hard but no breaks.
  16. Let's get to Hendricks this inning.
  17. Keep that up cubs....
  18. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 07:24 PM) Keep throwing strikes and good things will happen Tomlin. Amen. Keep the d-bag crowd out of it.
  19. Tomlin looking good.
  20. Wasted opportunity. But Hendricks looking hittable.
  21. QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 03:55 PM) Not sure if this will make sense, but I'll try. So much of being a Cubs fan is about being a Cubs fan. In a way, the team itself is irrelevant. It's about Wrigley Field, the 7th inning stretch that Harry Caray invented on the north side, famous fan boys, Wrigleyville bars, etc. That's what makes their fans such d-bags. When they go to an away park, all they care about is how many more Cubs fans are there than for the home team. This isn't meant to be the usual "they don't care about the score" argument either. I just feel like they are so caught up in the idea that they are Cubs fans that they have to gather in large numbers just to make a statement. Watch - the big story IF they win will be how many more fans are at the parade and how the Sox parade pales in comparison. The fact is, the Sox did it first. And the Sox did it better. This!
  22. Anyone listen to boars and bernstein just now? If sunday is a clinching game it would be the most anticipated sporting event ever in the history of sports and in 2005 the vibe was not there blah blah blah. I can't wait until this series is over.
  23. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 12:26 PM) Anyone brave/rich enough to do the Wrigley bar scene today? I was invited to a bbq/cubs party on saturday night. My friend lives on Sheffield near the corner of Belmont. He has a huge roof deck where you can see Wrigley field. Not sure if i want to deal the traffic and the fans.
  24. I was thinking this morning that this whole WS thing might be a good thing. Expose the fan base for the tards that they are.
