Hawk and DJ were talking about Diaz. They were right; he looked totally different today. He was confident and comfortable on the mound. If he could pitch well in the circumstances of a Sox-Cubs series in a sell-out crowd, he's going to be one hell of a pitcher.

Timo was just messing w/ Zambrano. He had him throw over like 8 times before he ever threw another pitch to Crede. That was a big play in getting Crede the cookie of a pitch to go yahtzee on.

I didn't hear what they called it. Throw-motion? But that was kind of cool, you could clearly see the movement on the ball with that. It was simple, but it was something I'd like to see here and there. Kong walks.

Ha yeah. I just hope we don't give it back. I'm happy with Diaz just getting through 5. Let him try to make it through the 6th, but take him out if things start getting scary. Overall, Diaz has done a great job for filling in on such short notice.
