Haha... That's a good thing to bring up; I trust Larry Bird. This will be good in the end. I want to see what this Luke Jackson guy can do; I know he was at Oregon. I didn't get to see much about Oregon the last year.

Chandler won't even have to start for the Pacers; I can see Carlisle figuring something out where Chandler could be a strong 6th man.

Haha...He was easily the third most valuable player on the team this season. That's not bad saying the first and second guys were O'Neal and Artest.

I saw something to this nature happening as a Pacers fan. Bird has been obsessing over Luke Jackson.

Illini brings up a couple of good points. I don't really give Davis the credit for the successful teams, because like he said, it's been a result of the talent. I would hate to see Davis be fired though. He's obviously not Bobby Knight, but he can f***ing recruit. If Indiana fired Davis today, I could guarantee everyone coming into play at IU this year would leave with the exception of James Hardy (he signed a football scholarship first). Some of the key guys like Bracey, Strickland, Ewing, Wilmont, etc. would probably be asking to transfer and play else where too. Davis is obviously not the greatest coach in the world, but he some how has the ability to attract talent to the school. I'd hate to see the school give up on him for that reason.

He's the all-time saves leader in Japan. They obviously didn't catch on to his style of pitching after one AB. True, he might end up blowing a save later on, but even Mariano Rivera's done that.

Shingo is a beast. I love how "scouts" and "experts" were knocking us for signing him, because of his slow velocity etc. We signed this guy for really cheap, and we have the option for next year. I love that we signed this guy; he's not Mr. Zero for nothing. Shingo!!!
