I'm about to purchase my computer for school pretty soon. I think I finally decided to go with the desktop instead of the laptop. I was definitely leaning towards a flat panel though; I've yet to hear a negative thing about them from my friends.

Congrats to you FSJ and Queen Prawn; you both seem well deserving of being part of the hierarchy of SoxTalk. Also, cheers to Jas, Alex, etc. who allow us all to interact with White Sox fans and not having to worry about rival team posters trolling and trashing the board.

That first game was the greatest. It felt like such a must-win. Konerko with the 11th inning HR to tie it back up, and Frank with the walk-off. I loved that game. The black and white pic of Frank in my sig is from that night.

I'd be all for making a deal where we can get both Livan and Carl from the Expos.

I don't know if it works for other people, but for me it's just an image of a waving smiley that says "Come visit VPsingles.com"...Whatever that means..... I can't stand how this works. I don't think this is KW's fault at all; we know he's been going after Garcia for a long time now. The Mariners have been trying to hold on to Garcia for as long as they can to see what the best deal they can get is. I just don't understand how we can't give the Mariners something that they'd like more than the Yankees' offer.

My fav one is when all the baseball players came to Springfield to play in the plant's softball game, mind you this episode was pretty old.....Wade Boggs, Jose Conseco, Griffey, Mattingly, Steve Sax etc. I loved Mattingly in this one. Mr. Burns kept telling him to shave his sideburns, and he ended up doing it so many times, that he was shaving the hair on his side and top of his head, on the line of where the sideburns would be....

Okay...I may have gotten this wrong too. Oh well, I'm over it. I apologize.

The same pathetic lineup (with the exception of Frank)...that scored 7 runs in the last 3 innings of last night's game....Yeah, pathetic. :headshake

Frank's my favorite player, and I want him out there. But what Ozzie's doing makes perfect sense. He doesn't want to get anyone too comfortable sitting the bench. He needs to get Paulie his ABs too.

That is awesome news! I was worried that I wouldn't see him, when I go to a couple games the first week in July! That's great to hear Mags is going to have such a speedy recovery.

I've been to the Cell and Wrigley.

I think Timo's going to be out there the majority, during the remainder of Mags' stint on the DL. Gload is great to have on the bench right now, no question. I definitely don't see Gload getting a start at 1B, while we're on the road during interleague.

Is Frank starting at first again? I sure hope so.......

That's awesome news. I've started reading up a little bit about this guy, and I'm really excited to see his turnout in professional baseball. I'm really glad to see the White Sox were so quick on signing everyone this year; the quicker we can get them in the organization, the better chance they succeed.

Either ESPN or FSN had a making of these A's commericals before the season. I really liked the one that they used to decide the starter for opening day.....
