QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Aug 5, 2005 -> 10:56 AM) But did he do as much coke as Probey? it's safe to say that he can match up with any other players in the league when in comes to their substance abuses. he's an all NHL first-team substance abuser. -

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Aug 5, 2005 -> 10:53 AM) My favorite hockey player of all time? It's a tough one... Bob Probert Stu Grimson Theo Fluery has to be up there no? He drinks like Probey but only 1/3 the size... gotta admire that. -

I could see Thibault going to Colorado as well.... they have some people they are looking to deal and Abischer sp? isn't a top caliber goalie. -

QUOTE(Pale Hose Jon @ Aug 5, 2005 -> 10:28 AM) For the hockey experts out there: What happens with Tibult, what can we expect in return for him? Well... he's definitely going to be dealt. LA has goalie needs maybe? - maybe they dont want JR and turn him right back around and send him back. Philly has an amazing goalie at the AHL but maybe they don't want to thrust him into the spotlight just yet - maybe they take Thibault in a deal for Simon Gange? there are options... goaltending is always a premium and we happened to have 2 all-stars on the roster right now. (eventhough thibault blows hard.) -

He cant wear 35 cause of Tony Esposito.... i wonder what number he wears? he could wear 00 i couldnt give a s***!!!!!!! WHOOOOO! -
Supposedly, Bobby Wade is really impressing people at camp.... but considering the guy has played 2 seasons in the NFL and still hasn't caught a ball in the endzone, he cant be regarded as either good... or dependable for any contributions. Moose is gonna need Gage to take some pressure off him or else he wont sniff 10 touchdowns. Where Gage and Berrian Go.... so does the bears offense. I really think were going to be able to pass off the run - just how Turner likes it. That being said... im really excited for this year. If we can get that offense in the teens, i think were wildcard bound.

honestly... i just want a forward who will make others around him better. Tuomo Ruutu is going to be the best foward on the team unless we pull a rabbit out of our hats and trade for a guy like Gange, or Thorton... I want Ruutu to have a s***load of chances to bury the biscut and become a fixture in the hockey league. I think this could be the year Ruutu becomes a household name in chicago... and im not talking about Christian Ruutu who played for the Hawks back in the mid 90's -

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 10:45 AM) I'm thinking Khabi is going to make sure the Hawks get another player or two before making his decision. Could be wrong though. maybe.... i think khabi is just looking to get paid, and maybe just trying to syphen the last dollar out of the hawks or whatever team he can. -

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 09:17 AM) Hmm... A trade in the works, maybe? They're bringing in an awful lot of third line/fourth line types... I agree with SFF and whoever else brought up his name, Zig Palffy would be a nice pickup. I wish that this was the case... however, this is usually the way we assemble our team with a bunch of grinders and not a whole lotta talent. we shall see but i dunno. -

I've always liked Paul Kariya, i think he'd be a great fit - and with his speed his game should improve with some of the new rule changes. I can see him setting Tuomo up for scoring chance after scoring chance after scoring chance -

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 3, 2005 -> 05:02 PM) Damn. I would have liked him or Naslund but it looks like both are gone. can i just ask an honest question.... do you know anything about hockey? i know im an admin and supposed to be a pillar of respect (ok with me thats a stretch)... but i just think your posting without an ounce of knowledge here... its one thing to read a couple things on the net... and its another to actually know what your talking about. Why in gods name would you want Alexi Kovalev? The guy is an absolute tamata can. -

QUOTE(YahtzeeSox @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 03:55 PM) Can we get Pavel Datsyuk? I remember him tearing the league apart in 2003. He's not a FA, but supposedly he's going to be a part of the deal to get Joe Thorton from the Boston Bruins and get him on the Wings. -
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:17 PM) Just becareful when the Cubs come to play here... just sayin. that was good mike... big dap points for you :

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:14 PM) The day Frank retires, is the day they figure out where to put his number. He will have his number retired the first year he is out of the game. they could tattoo it on my buttocks if they wanted... i'd stand pants down tied to the wall - again if they wanted..... he's that good.

QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:10 PM) They'll need to make room for #35, first. For Sure... without a doubt. 35 is the best player to ever put on the silver and black.
