    Should Pete Rose be in the HOF?

    I voted no, but interestingly enough, it has nothing to do with the betting on baseball issue.

     

    I recently adopted the belief that any professional athlete who has been convicted of a crime and has spent time in jail should not be in any "club" where the word "fame" is associated.  To me, the Hall of Fame is something that children should be able to look to and be full of people they can aspire to be.  Not just people who could hit a baseball or throw a lot of touchdowns -- but also people who were lawabiding citizens.  Pete, as most of you know I'm sure, went to prison for like 3 years for tax evasion.  That disqualifies him from my HOF.

     

    Pete Rose -- all-time hit king (a record that will probably never be broken), but he f***ed himself out of the HOF.  Sorry Pete.

    Bulls***. Profesional athletes are human like anyone else. They're personal life should have nothing to do with their HOF status. Pete Rose was the Perfect example of what a baseball player should be minus the gambling. Kids should be taught not to look up to these guys or try to be like them. They f*** up just like anyone else. I respect the player on the field. Half of them are f*** heads if you try to talk to them. perfect example. Aarron Rowand. This little son of a b**** has his nose in the air already and he no one. Look up to that????? NEVER! They have Million dollar jobs. It's nothing like it used to be.

     

    Pete Rose was one of the greatest baseball players that ever lived. That's what the HOF is about. MLB HOF. Not the Nobel peace Prize. Put him in there already.

    Anderson won and in my opinion it was one of the best home run derby's I've seen. 

     

    Tons of fresh faces and man can those guys hit.  I was rooting for GA and was glad to see him win. 

     

    Oh ya, Pujols also showed why he's the best.

    Damn Jason. You ever negative? That HR durby sucked ass! I found the Celeberty Softball game a lot more entertaining. I'm just not impressed with a homer at the cell unles it gets to the concourse. I'm tough to please. But every homer looks the same there in the seats to me. It's a boring outfield for measuring hr's unless they hit the concourse. they need a HR porch!

    Grienke looked OK, but it appeared to me that he slowed down his arm a lot as he threw his curveball.

     

    The Grienke I saw was unhitable with NASTY s***. I saw him for an inning on TV and i was most impressed with him. I've never seen a 19 year old with that much control with all that movement. He's gonna be a stud. Too bad he's with KC.

    I'm not going to try and predict ANYTHING with this year's team.

    Konerko has been swinging the bat pretty well lately, so maybe he'll get his confidence up again.

    Only prediction i'm making is that KC win this division.

    Right before we went on air he pissed me off. I kicked him bare footed like a dumbass and now the knuckle on my big toe is starting to look like a grape fruit. Not good.

    UH guys pay attention you are acusing him of doing something(Tinkering) that he isn't doing.  In this case he is actualy being consisitent.  Graffanino hasn't hit against righties all season so when he somes against one JM takes him out.  What is wrong with that, isn't that what you want him to do be consistant.

     

     

    It doesn't matter what JM does some of you will always be mad at him.  Smae with KW.

    So you think he's a good manager? I didnt even see the play. I just took at shot a JM. I figured Ian would have caught onto it if he saw it. :P

    has KW built it? yes, but has he put together a bad team playing up to their potential or a good team playing far below their potential?

     

    fact is, a lot of odd crap has happened, a lot of players haven't produced.

    Just make it short and sweet. "Everything KW touches turns to s***". Now that's blaming both ends.

    this eliminates the twins as contenders and leaves things between KC and us - good!

    Gota get to .500 and rise from there first. And cant get swept by the mighty f***ing Tigers. :puke.

    You can always use Rooney and Farmer as aids for the first game and WGN for the second.

    That's waaaaaaaaayyyyy to hard. cant really get into and everyone would need headphones. No sounds re-broadcasted on SnR at ANYTIME.

    I doubt they'll try to get a catcher tolearn the system with all the pitchers since Olivo is still learning . Every pitcher will want Sandy just because he knows them.
