  1. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Nov 9, 2014 -> 08:00 PM) Over/under 4 TDs for Rodgers tonight. Annnnd the correct answer was over. Funny thing is I was gonna type 5 at first and it still would've been over.
  2. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 9, 2014 -> 06:37 PM) Insert Roberto Alomar and Carl Everett joke here Don't forget Omar Vizquel!
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 8, 2014 -> 10:05 AM) Disagree. He has shown some flashes of being a really good player, he just doesn't understand the NBA game yet And he's got one of the better bball I.Q guys in the game (not just big man) in Gasol to learn from. Pau is extremely intelligent.
  4. Not a fan of his at all. I remember the org banking the same thing as far as power numbers on Teahen when he got here. He's a better fielder, but older. He's an upgrade, but not one I'd jump the gun to get rid of Viciedo for and this is comming from someone who probably hates Viciedo the second most next to Eminor3rd.
  5. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Nov 6, 2014 -> 08:15 AM) At least Kobe earned his right to be a toolbag with 5 rings and monster games that Kyrie can't even sniff at the moment. Not to mention he literally has noone on that god awful laker team worth a damn.
  6. QUOTE (raBBit @ Nov 6, 2014 -> 06:32 AM) No one has really said it, but Conger would have been a pretty good fit for us if they saw something they liked with him at the plate. Great defender, switch hitter, still surprisingly young. He is also one of the best pitch framers in the game. Pretty nice trade for the Stros.
  7. Aaron Brooks lead the team with 3 blocks tonight. Let that sink in alittle..
  8. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 4, 2014 -> 09:05 PM) What was sharps injury. Knee. Did not look good. Q just said he's out "for a bit." Usually that means weeks in his language.
  9. QUOTE (Tmar @ Nov 4, 2014 -> 07:53 PM) I hear his brother Mo causes a lot of problems Candidate for POTY.
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 4, 2014 -> 03:44 PM) He'll be a Cub. I think so as well. The guy just said he would love pitching more in day games to spend more time with his family. I think it's a no brainer.
  11. Just noticed that catch he made it the outfield.. then looked like he kicked the dude on purpose coming back in the field. Looks like a douche, but who am I to judge..

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 30, 2014 -> 06:43 PM) Time to delete a few of Balta's posts I still remember when you were way ahead of everyone..then Mike came along and just took off... now Balta is right on the tracks. Your 55k+ looks like nothing now.
  13. 3 titles in 5 years. I usually don't like throwing the dynasty title around like others but.... yea.
  14. Danks hitting 94-95 on the gun too. Those were the days with him pre surgery...
  15. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 26, 2014 -> 10:53 PM) I told you guys Darling would be the man. Dude won his first game in his hometown starting at the lowest of the lows in the SPHL just a couple of seasons ago (first nhl'er to make it actually) and worked his ass off every level to get to where he is. I'll speak for most when I say I'll root for this guy the rest of his career. Nice article on him here. http://mweb.cbssports.com/nhl/eye-on-hocke...in?v=1&vc=1
  16. His first sack as a bear might end up being season ending. Idiot.
  17. This might be the most embarrassing game I've ever seen.
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 24, 2014 -> 06:14 PM) Jimmy Rollins is apparently a "co-winner", making this the first year that there have been 2 winners of the Roberto Clemente Award. Paulie was robbed of the whole enchilada.
  19. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 25, 2014 -> 10:40 AM) You are saying a rookie will steal 100+ bases in one season if a certain guy is managing, and I am the one cherry picking? You think Maddon is the onky manager whi swipes bases with a fast team? What about Ned Yost? The White Sox run the guys who can run. What is so unique about Joe Maddon that would make a rookie steal 100 bases in a season for him and not anyone else? Carl Crawford ran just as much under Lou Piniella. As I stated personnel matters. Ah yes. The other typical DA still ignoring what he wants to read. I already said I was exaggerating on the stolen base number and said IF Micah actually hits/gets on base/even starts as the 2B. My point was he is known as an aggressive manager. Balta already proved my point listing the Rays ranking in stolen base numbers under his tenure. I also mentioned personnel and health of his players (hell Damon was still stealing 20+ at nearly age 40) But hey, keep fighting the good fight for nothing my man. Not quite the same without Pratt though.
  20. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 25, 2014 -> 08:35 AM) I don't know how you come up with these assumptions. Personnel matters. Maddon attempted 90 steals total in 2014, now if he was managing, Johnson would have over 100 steals himself? Ah yes. The typical DA cherry picking. We're going to ignore the years which he had Crawford, Upton, Fuld, Jennings, Longoria (the latter pre injuries) Zobrist, Damon etc. When they were swiping bases left and right? He had the personal and the health of his players over the years and was well regarded as an aggressive manager. I was exaggerating the number for Micah obviously but I could still see him in the Podsednik range if he actually hits/gets on base.
  21. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 24, 2014 -> 05:44 PM) The Sierra Abreu brotastic platonic love affair ends I have to imagine he is probably not too happy about this. Hopefully not too pissed off at sox management.
