    Paulie recently hit his 350th career homerun. I started to think about him getting to 500, but he'd have to play at least another 4-5 years. It's possible, but who knows how his performance would be over that stretch.

    I was at a party Saturday during the deadline, and a friend was constantly checking his phone for updates. By 3:30 we knew nothing else was going to happen. At that point and for the next day I was content to give KW a D+ for the deal. Swapping Hudson for Jackson seemed like an even trade (no real improvement), and for that he gets a C. But factor in the money and that drops his grade to a D. I added the plus because of the experience Jackson has.

     

    Today though, I feel a little better about it. If Coop can fix him and Jackson goes out there and pitches his ass off and helps the Sox get to the post-season, I'll be happy. Like someone else said, Coop may have very well went to KW and said that Hudson's celing is lower than we thought. And if that is the case, that's fine. The $8 million Jackson is owed next year is still a concern.

    A guy is playing golf and gets to the fifth hole where he runs into an attractive woman. They decide to play together to save time. The guy hits from the white tees and the woman hits from the red tees. When they get to the turn, the woman says, "My house is right over there. What do you say we head over there and I give you a blow job." The guy immediately agrees, and they take off to her house.

     

    The guy is golfing the next week and runs into the woman again on the fifth hole. They play to the ninth again, he hitting from the white tees, she hitting from the red tees. Again she offers a blow job at the turn. And again he agrees.

     

    This goes on for about six weeks until one day the woman says, "I have a confession. I'm actually a man."

     

    The guy flies into a rage, throwing clubs and kicking the grass. "You son of a b****! All this time you've been hitting from the women's tees!"

    As of now, it's not been a horrible day trade wise. It could get bad, however, if we are stuck with Torres or somebody as No. 4 and Freddy No. 5.

    You don't have to worry about that. The only person Jackson will be traded for is that big powerful lefty in DC.
