I think everybody wants these guys just because all these other teams want them. If we don't get Perez or Clement, things will still be about the same for the Sox. I don't see either one of these guys giving that big a boost to the team.

There is no way that the sox were going to do anything in the playoffs (if they even got in) with the team we had. As much as I like MO, he wasn't going to put us over the top. I would always trade a decent catcher for a #1 pitcher
