  1. I am just saying it is a possiblity because face it if Cleveland had a decent bullpen they would be in first by four or five games.

Your point? If we had Barry Bonds and Albert Pujols, we'd be up a couple games, too. I'm just so tired of that excuse because every team has its flaws and the Bullpen is one third of the game, so thats one huge hole.

  2. #9 is not that great for the team we have. We are expected to be anywhere from 1 through 5 for the preseason poll. But its Katz who put us at #9 so I dont take that as anything. My God does ESPN need some new CBB analysist. It doesnt get much worse than Dukie V/Katz/Biased Bilas.

  4. Found this interesting:

    11:30  Floor Talk

Hearing the Boston Red Sox have arrangement to trade Nomar to Chicago White Sox, with White Sox to trade prospects to Arizona, who send Randy Johnson to Boston. Deal could be announced as early as tomorrow, as sources at Major League Baseball indicate they don't generally allow significant announcements day of All-Star game.

Not sure if you can view the site or not but I will happily post a picture of the article if someone helps my computer illiterate self post a picture. If you can view the site, its a ways down.

I guess its a very professional site but it is a stock site which leaves it questionable.

  5. One time, I got to go into the park super early and me and a couple of friends were the only people in the whole stadium other than players and workers. It was defiantly one of the best expierences that I have ever had. Well, anyway, I was watching them take some BP from the outfield(came close to being knocked out about 10 times) and I spot Thomas and Cal Ripken having a conversation down on the 1st baseline. I went over and called them too me and we had a conversation and they were both very nice and talkative. I then went back to the outfield to meet all the pitchers and asked Kelly Wuncsh for a ball and he said no and started laughing at me. Oh well, it was all very worth it to meet 2 future HOFers at the same time.

  6. For anyone who had expectations of him pitching well, just consider that he just moved half-way across the country from a city in which he has player his whole career. He also barely knows anyone here yet and everything is all new to him here.
