turns out this girl doesnt respond to anyone ever. I talked to her cousin for an hour or so yesterday through instant message and I asked her why (the girl im after) is so picky and choosy on what she replies to, and why she sometimes doesnt reply at all? Her response was pretty much "its because shes a dumbass. she doesnt reply to anything or anyone, by phone, email, computer or anything and I have no clue why. I tried texting her 3 times today telling her to call me and I never heard from her. She even did this in high school, and I dont know why shes like this, but she is. Id say the best bet is to just ignore her when she texts so she knows how it feels, but ive tried that and it doesnt even faze her.I guess just dont take it personal. I wish I could help more, but ive known her my whole life and still cant figure out the answer to this question." After that, I tried calling her yesterday. Got her voice mail of course and asked her if she was free tonight and wanted to hang out. She texted back hours later saying "yes i want to hang out, but i do have soccer practice. So hopefully after?" So I tried replying back saying that after her practice would be good and if she wanted to see a movie (since its gonna be sort of late) and I never heard anything back. So ehh I dunno wtf to expect outta this one. I dont want to give up on it yet though.

I agree, I dont know why im thinking so much about this. Again last night she just ignored my text completely. So I figure tonight im just going to call her, and ill get a much better judgement based on that. I should be able to tell what her deal is based on that.

I know this is a baseball site, but come on now. Everyone knows "football season" is the only one that really matters.

Would it be harmful to joke about her texting me instead of calling, the next time she sends a text?

I understand where hes going but thats not the case. I know shes interested (or was) I just dont know how much. I was told from people that talked to her that she wanted me to make a move, which I did. I honestly think shes playing hard to get, OR shes undecided if she wants a relationship.

Damn, I know I should ignore her, but s***. She text's me at 6, I text her back at 645, and the stupid ass doesnt even reply back. Whats the point of her asking me whats up, if shes not gonna follow up after I answer?

Yea I dont get attached as easy as some of these threads suggest. I go to parties weekly, and meet new girls constantly, but when I fall, it tends to be pretty hard. Once I do its pretty much give or take, however I dont get all mushy and clingy giving out feelings. I keep it bottled up and post it on here. However, body language and small mistakes im sure kill me in anyway. Women can sense s*** like this.

Ok so im gonna play it cool and continue life as scheduled, but if by the off chance she texts me, how do you guys suggest I play it?

Well based on everything, ruined or not. What gives me the BEST chance to get back into the game involving this girl?

Then I try to bring up a conversation about her baseball team (cubs) and sorinano getting injured and she just doesnt answer back. Now today I ask my friend john since he talked to her a bit at the party, and what he thinks and he says that she said she was interested, but the actions just DO NOT add up much like I suggest. We both agree something is there thats not being said. So now this kid take initive (which I wish he wouldnt have), and he texts her and after a little hey whats up" small talk, he tries to invite her to his softball game tonight using the nitch ill be there, so I can already guarentee she doesnt go. funny thing is they had a 5 or 6 text chat he said, and she replied very quickly the entire time. I cant get her to talk to me whatsoever other than when we are at these parties.

eh I dont think so man. I know this comes off as insecure and needy, but ive got my mind set on this girl. Its uncharacteristic, but im not settling for anything else until I know where I stand with this girl.
