All you can ask for from your starting pitcher is to keep his team in the game. That's what Jon did and he even has a chance to win it.

Agreed. Anybody who says this wasn't a strong outing by Garland is an obvious stat-head.

I think Jon can build on this start. Besides this one bad inning, he has pitched very good. I look for Jon to use this outing as a stepping stone to the rest of the season.
