With Leury's swing and miss issues I'm not in love with this situation

Still don't find it encouraging that Yoan felt sick. It's not like there are other reasons for feeling sick after getting hit in the head.

In fairness, if Jay instead of Palka was getting the reps in RF the loss of Avi wouldn't be near as painful

Hey now, we do not like overpaying veteran players who have no long-term future with us

Unpopular opinion I guess, but I'm not upset about using Colome yesterday. Take the wins you've got.

Am I the only one thought the whole thing was going to stop without much incident if it weren't for the Royals coaches jumping in and confronting Tim?

There would be no story here at all if Dale Sveum didn't jump in and cut off Anderson's path to first.

That may be it, but unlike Avi there was never a narrative about Eloy not getting to his power because he wouldn't pull/lift the way there always was with Avi. This feels more like a temporary funk than a guy fighting his natural tendencies.

I think there was a ball that zoomed by him and maybe caught some jersey or something

Would like to see Eloy stop beating the ball into the ground. I feel like I've seen someone do that before but I can't remember who

Don't be hitting it out near Engel

Yeah it's kind of a cliche but in his case....it sure looks like he could dominate even as a multi-inning reliever. Only wildcard is if he needs a 45 minute warmup to be dominant for one time through the order

Fun fact that I don't know where to share: Tim Anderson has 10 hits with an exit velocity lower than Yoan's lowest exit velocity hit

Too bad we wouldn't dare overpay for a veteran

This team would be way better with Avi Garcia in RF

Palka has badly hurt out pitching staff this year and if memory serves me correctly, Reynaldo in particular. Reynaldo I think has been the primary victim of the short fly ball gaffes as well
