With the way things have shaken out, I think it is very fair to put Thibs's job on the line for this series, personal squabbles or not. If we win, he gets a good shot to keep the job and if we lose it's hard to justify how he couldn't get this team past a hobbled Cavs

The bright side is I think Cavs look very vulnerable and a decent game from the Bulls will beat them regardless of venue

Didn't deserve to win this one. I hope Thibs gets the guys running the offense for the next game. Also, that free timeout clearly hurt us

I'll take a win if we manage one but we don't deserve it

What a f***ing terrible shot. At least shoot it higher than the rim

I'll sleep better at night if I tell myself that LBJ will look at that replay and know that he charged there

QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ May 10, 2015 -> 05:00 PM) Whenever I watch basketball, I can't get over the amot of traveling. Not just the Jordanesque extra half step on every drive. The shuffling of feet and changing the pivot foot is what gets me. That, and LeBron takin 2 steps between dribbles. Taj has had some mind-bending footwork in this game

I'm not loving the personnel management in this game. We've had a little too much Niko for as little as he's being used on offense

What a fun first quarter. I remember we talked early in the series about why LeBron doesn't just take it to the rack every possession. Wind was the main explanation we came up with. But you saw it in the first quarter. Even mighty LeBron can be stopped if he gets too reckless

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 10, 2015 -> 02:36 PM) AAA? Jeez let's at least consider AA, and even that is a bit much probably. His lack of baseball pedigree calls for slower progression through the minors, not faster. There's an extent to which you want his real age to match his level, but he's behind in his baseball development. The Sox have nothing invested in him so it isn't like they need to have the pick paying off dividends before some arbitrary deadline, so no use risking him or anyone else in pushing too fast

I'm surprised how mortal Bryant's numbers look after how impressive his first week or so was. The main stat I'm looking for with him is K%. It's at 32% right now. I'm doubtful that he'll ever get below 25%, which puts a lot of pressure on him to hit a bunch of homers to be elite

QUOTE (Brian @ May 9, 2015 -> 05:58 PM) Nba says the correct no call was made on Lebron with 3 secs left. Ok. You have got to be s***ting me. Why say anything at all? That erodes the confidence I have in the league. Just saying it doesn't make it true, NBA

The Democrat Thread
You don't lose attention for specific types of voters with proportional voting, they get more attention. A voting bloc that might comprise 5% of a state suddenly matters because that gets your party pretty close to a seat (or it does get you one, depending on the seat and specifics of the system).

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ May 8, 2015 -> 10:51 PM) This x 1,000,000 They will just not call James with a foul no matter what he does. That was some blatant ref s*** in the 4th, and I'm one who b****es about referees but that outright disgusting. Against all that garbage, the Bulls still found a way to pull it out, I'm so proud of these guys The way he attacked Rose with 7 seconds left was like a man who had no fear of a foul call

I still don't think we can win the series if the calls are going to go this way. I'm not going to say they're trying to f*** us, but they're f***ing us nonetheless
