  1. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 2, 2006 -> 09:35 PM) Well....that's another reason you don't bring Nelson in. Also, could Pods take any longer getting to the ball? Nelson obviously doesn't have anything left. Pods and his tippy toe bulls***.
  2. QUOTE(Chet @ Jun 2, 2006 -> 08:49 PM) Lets go Garland. I think I speak for everyone in here when I say, we are sick of this losing crap. I love your screen name and the player.
  3. Good thing I have Gload on my fantasy team.
  4. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:13 PM) You take the good with the bad from him. Sometimes he'll draw the walk, sometimes he'll get called out. It would be nice if he was a little better at protecting, but I think that after seeing him play about 200 games, it's the way he is. Agreed. I'll keep em.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:03 PM) Yep....we suck. It's a great thing we brought in the lefty, and let him face Michaels. Well done pitching staff and Ozzie. And we all know how Ozzie loves the matchups. I seems to me that Oz does not trust his bullpen.
  6. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 07:26 PM) Screw it, im going back to just the Sox... You go both ways?
  7. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 06:29 PM) Its hard to watch Sox baseball right now. VERY!!! :puke
  8. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ May 31, 2006 -> 09:18 PM) Uribe seriously needs to get some pine time. Cintron at least gives you some sort of resemblance of an AB. I agree. I also think Citron is a way better SS,than Mack is a CF. I would rather have Anderson in CF and Citron at SS.
  9. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ May 31, 2006 -> 12:37 PM) It's defnitely the biggest difference I notice between this team and last years. Me too. I can handle a loss but, these kind of losses kill me.
  10. QUOTE(aboz56 @ May 30, 2006 -> 07:12 PM) Anyone who thinks Garland is better than Mark needs their head checked. And watch a few games.
  11. QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ May 30, 2006 -> 07:10 PM) Buehrle gives up the lead in one inning, but it's okay. Garland doesn't give up lead for 5 innings, everybody is ready to ship him out. Garland > Buerhle
  12. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 28, 2006 -> 10:43 PM) That's impossible. Because Frank's choking on a cupcake, while drinking tea in a dress with sand in his vagina. Now you come over and clean up my floor.
  13. QUOTE(Felix @ May 28, 2006 -> 07:44 PM) I think the reason that he hasn't looked as good as he can be is because of the inconsistant use of him. If he were to be used on a consistant basis (like he would as a starter), he would be much more effective. But alas, he has been used inconsistantly, which has got to be tough for a young pitcher who has gone his entire pro ball career as a starter, before finally being told late 2005 that he would be coming out of the pen. I agree. If they use him more,I believe he will be fine.
  14. I thought it was Walt that taught this to him. Bring him in and let him work his majic with Uribe.
  15. QUOTE(Balance @ May 28, 2006 -> 03:49 PM) I look at it this way. The Sox aren't playing anywhere near as well as last year, yet they still have the second best record in baseball and (assuming Cleveland holds on today) are only 1.5 games back. If the Sox start to click better, look out. 2.5.
  16. Nice job! Toronto 3rd! Let hope they fall a couple places this weekend.
