  1. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ May 13, 2006 -> 07:10 PM) If we're scoring two runs the remainder of this game, we're going to have to put it up against some of the best. Liriano will probably go another inning. Then Rincon and Nathan. I can't f***ing believe I turn my TV off to notice it's 4-0, then turn it back on for this. Since when is Liriano the best? Rincon and Nathan are two of the best, but you can't throw Liriano in their now.
  2. Liriano given up 26 hits in 20 innings. Cmon Pods!
  3. QUOTE(Felix @ May 13, 2006 -> 06:55 PM) He wasn't, he was charging the ball... like you are supposed to as a fielder. I was talking about that Castillo play at first.
  4. Stay on the f***ing base Paulie. THat ball came right to you. Why were you trying to tag him?
  5. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 13, 2006 -> 06:50 PM) :rolly :rolly You can set your watch on it.
  6. I wonder why Paul was trying to tag him. It didn't look like the throw was off the mark. Strange play. Cmon Javy.

    Garland

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 13, 2006 -> 01:20 PM) Nice to see our own fans turn on our players so quickly, especially after what Jon did last season. It's rather depressing really.
  8. Cleveland, but they are very dissaspointing. You could imagine their hitting getting back on track at hte second half of last year, but their pitching this year sucks and I don't see a huge turnaround like we saw from their hitters last year.
  9. QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 12, 2006 -> 08:44 PM) Mark Buehrle can be beat and probably will be. Probably will be?
  10. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ May 12, 2006 -> 07:53 PM) Your the same guy who said you would take Buerhle over Johan. Trust me if Kenny could trade one of our starters straight up for Johan, he would say have your pick TR. You must have me confused with someone else. I said BUerhle was having a better season at that point last year and he was, but quite a bit. I never once said otherwise. And I'm sure that we would all say that to Terry Ryan. But that's not what I'm talking about.
  11. QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 12, 2006 -> 07:46 PM) Yes, you are correct Johan is the best in baseball right now and last year and next month and next year. LOL. Uh no. Jose is dominating Santana so far this year. I'm sure Santana will get into Santana-esque numbers, but even if he does, it's not as good as JOse if he keeps it up. BUt who knows if he will. That's why I said it'll be interesting to see where they are. Jose has been the best pitcher in baseball since the All-star break last year til right now though and it's not particularly close.
  12. QUOTE(Felix @ May 12, 2006 -> 07:48 PM) Why is Garland still starting? These are the Twins damnit, not some high powered offense. Might as well let him save our bullpen for the series. Pitch as long as he can.
  13. QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 12, 2006 -> 07:41 PM) A huge part of this argument is also the age difference which is arguably around 30 years difference. Wait? What are we comparing here? Best pitcher period? Best pitcher over the past half a season? Best pitcher so far this season? Best pitcher the next 10 years? Pitcher you'd most like to have? I was saying he is the best pitcher in the AL right now and there is no denying that. He's the best pitcher in the bigs right now.
  14. It'll be interesting to see where the two end up this year. So far Jose is dominating him in pretty much ever stat but Ks. .235 OBP against? That is disgusting.
  15. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ May 12, 2006 -> 07:23 PM) I call it being dominated by the best pitcher in the A.L. Jose isn't pitching tonight.
  16. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 12, 2006 -> 07:22 PM) Well, with out guys just looking like they don't want to hit tonight, we wont get any bloop bloop bloop hits. I assure you they want to hit. That doesn't mena it always happens though. Only 3 more bloops to go!
  17. Well, we just need a bloop, a bloop, a bloop, a bloop, and a blast....
  18. Uggggggly. Might as well be on Santana's night though.
  19. QUOTE(3RDBASE @ May 12, 2006 -> 07:08 PM) can we possibly get some outs? Joe tried. He missed by a few feet though. 3-0 Twins.
  20. lol. THat looked like it was almost a foot off the plate.
  21. QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 12, 2006 -> 06:45 PM) See, Brian can look fancy in the field. I like the no look, sliding catch....LOL I wonder if this is his first actual game at the twinkiedome.
