  1. J.D. and Crede both came out for some rest btw. QUOTE(Frankensteiner @ Aug 24, 2006 -> 02:59 PM) Giambi probably juiced but he's still putting up MVP numbers. I-Rod hits like Joey Cora. Giambi and his HGH are great.
  2. QUOTE(Texsox @ Aug 24, 2006 -> 02:56 PM) After I got past the creepiness of Milo Hamilton, I've emjoyed the Astros broadcasts, but they are my ":home team". Yeah but we're talking about P.A. guys. The Astros P.A. guy at the ballpark is annoying as hell.
  3. HE GONE!! Say cheese, caught looking and inning over. Garland through 8, heading to the 9th up 10-0. Interesting to see if Garland tries to finish off the shutout here. He's at 98 pitches.
  4. D.J. taking shots at Mack's CF play right now, or maybe moreso at Ozzie for EVER putting him out there (which I don't get).
  5. QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Aug 24, 2006 -> 02:53 PM) The Tigers have the most annoying PA announcer in baseball. He's HORRIBLE. Him and then the Astros guys are the 2 worst by far. And wow does Brian make it look easy. Covers 1/3 the earth indeed.
  6. Now THIS is a game where I'd pitch Garland the 8th, then put Cotts in for the 9th to try and build up confidence.
  7. I will say however I always have been suspecious of Thome, but other than him I don't know who the hell on our team would be a juicer, unless your just going to say Dye since he's having a career year, which is blind speculation. Wow, what a play by Infante.
  8. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Aug 24, 2006 -> 02:46 PM) 85 Hilarious tigers board saying that the sox have a team full of juicers, while the tigers have none. Well based on his career until now, I suspect Thames. Casey is known to have close ties from back in Cincy, of course Pudge, Brandon Inge is a suspect, as is Chris Shelton (who is now in AAA though). What about Maggs? Etc. Pablo now 3 for 5 today, nice.
  9. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 24, 2006 -> 02:38 PM) All 10 runs today have been scored with 2 outs.. Leyland's gonna be having nightmares. EDIT: Only 9 of 10 with 2 outs, Ozuna's was with 1 out. But Leyland is STILL going to be having nightmares. Another EASY inning for Jon, we lead 10-0 heading to the 8th. Jon has it ROLLIN', he's allowed ONE earned run in his last 21.2 innings, and none his last 15.1 IP.
  10. Juan takes a decent breaker on 1-2.....sign he's really seeing the ball well IMO. 2-2 pitch is to short, force at 2nd ends the inning. But another crooked number.
  11. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 24, 2006 -> 02:35 PM) The line on Robertson today...6.2 innings, 10 runs, all of em earned. The Sox have scored 10+ on the other teams starter several times this year now...wonder what the record for that is by a team in a single season.
  12. A.J. singles, station to station as PK holds. Bases crunk 2 outs once again....Juanny with a chance to REALLY have himself a day. Nice to see A.J. hit one hard and get rewarded.
  13. JOE CREDE!! RBI single, 10-0 Sox!! Paulie to 2nd.
  14. Base hit for Paulie, that scores a pair, thatta boy PK!! 9-0 good guys, Dye to 2nd.
  15. Btw, Brian is now at .228 according to Yahoo. That is a season high for him.
  16. Robertson finally learns his lesson and walks Jermaine. Bases crunk 2 down for Paulie. And that's all for Robertson, here comes Colby Lewis.
  17. Full splits btw for Gooch: vs. lefties: 5 HR, 15 RBI.... .238/.300/.372/.672 vs. righties: 8 HR, 38 RBI.... .318/.375/.445/.821
  18. Gooch vs lefties: .238 Gooch vs. righties: .318
  19. As bad as this freaking roadtrip has gone, if Freddy a-hole coulda beat a guy named Boof, it's a 4-3 trip against 2 damn tough teams.
  20. QUOTE(BFirebird @ Aug 24, 2006 -> 02:13 PM) He thought Crede caught it and stopped running. Then realized it was in left field and started running, but he is too slow to get there in time. I have seen people get thrown out getting a hit to RF with guys like Vlad out there but never left. I'm watching the game and saw it live, but I still can't believe it.
  21. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Aug 24, 2006 -> 02:10 PM) Hes slower than dirt. ALways has been. But the ball hit off Crede's glove and trickled into left, and I've never seen a 5-7-3 before. Casey just didn't hustle, he assumed Crede caught it, although who can blame him lol. And also, props to Pablo on a nice throw as well. Heading to the 6th, 7-0 Sox. Jon has it rolling, and this game is OFFICIAL!! (although it looks like the sun is out there anyways)
  22. WTF??? CASEY THROWN OUT AT 1ST BY OZUNA IN LF!!! WHAT A PLAY, WHAT WAS CASEY DOING?!?!
  23. This just into the news room....Jermaine Dye, he's pretty good!! THAT WAS DESTROYED!!! 7-0!!
