the beat guys tend to have the early accurate perspective and the under-radar guy they seem to like most is Heuer

Maybin to Tigers. no longer an option

Yolmer will have that one year where he hits and it's gonna be 3 to 3.5 WAR when it happens. That's how sure-fire the defense is.
Watch, it'll happen for Oakland i bet

Beltran's niece should join our org to replace Yonder Alonso and Jon Jay

Good 2nd half for us. However he is the result of what happens when you are always in the zone but not blessed with amazing stuff

As we shift to win-now, it becomes easier to have Sox players become 100% targets on the message boards. I foresee Mazara and ReyLo as being the new guys to draw the mega-ire of the fandom. A title previously held by Avi

Found good historical background on big turnarounds, of the kind we are hoping to embark on in 2020

If we won 100 games next year, we'd be the 24th biggest turnaround of all time. Rare, of course, but we just replaced Yonder and AJ Reed with Edwin Encarnacion today, showing just how vile and bad our starting point was...so that gives hope

Looks like his sources were on target with this:

Yes, and he can apparently play RF and both bats and throws lefty. We have Mazara for up to two years. This guy would be a nice replacement if he’s legit.
It is interesting.
I also wanna see Micker finally get his chance to prove some health in MiLB. Even with injuries he comes right back and still hits when he's actually out there.

he's 21, this would be a future play if it were to happen

What happens to McCann if we get Encarnacion? There won’t be enough ABs for him.
Great teams have great depth

I tend to believe Levine and Gomez on the EE chances, because DH-only guys likely get their market figured out in a hurry due to lack of suitors

For what it's worth Puig actually has better career #s against righties. Reverse splits guy

Newest from Bruce Levine
The White Sox's focus is on adding another solid bat. If Encarnacion isn't the answer, it's possible the White Sox could look to sign another free-agent outfielder like Yasiel Puig to platoon in right field with Nomar Mazara, whom they acquired from the Rangers in a trade at the Winter Meetings.
Encarnacion's father recently passed away, so his focus isn't on baseball right now. The expectation is he'll sign with a team in January.
