  1. QUOTE(letsgoarow @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 07:00 PM) what inning didd they say it in and who was batting i have the game on tivo and missed it It was right before Iguchi's hit in the 5th...1 batter before Thomas destroyed another ball.
  2. I had to be over 1000...maybe even 2000...did most of mine in 30 minute blocks, did like 7 or 8 of those...was averaging 1 every 10 seconds give or take, puts me at around 1200 or so.
  3. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 06:54 PM) I have successfully recorded the audio file. I have plenty of web hosting space if you need it.
  4. Jose Contreras is through the 6th, and here's the key...83 pitches thrown for the Count through 6.
  5. Please someone...I don't care how...either post that video file here or at least the audio file. Someone who's tivoing it...put a mic up to your TV or something.
  6. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 06:43 PM) Please stop saying ''stretch'' hawk, please. Well...one of these times Frank will need that willpower...to get the ball onto the concourse behind the seats.
  7. #447... That one was 5 feet farther than last night's according to the tape. Frank is now hitting .254 in case y'all are interested.
  8. PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE'S RECORDING/TIVOING THIS GAME SO WE CAN GET THAT VIDEO/AUDIO CLIP
  9. You're kidding...Hawk gives us Props and I'm only on the radio! Dah!
  10. Eh, Iguchi with a single, Pods gets 3rd by outrunning the throw, I'll take it.
  11. The AL's newest all-star takes the dreaded leadoff walk. He better get #42 here dammit. I've been waiting all game.
  12. QUOTE(SHAFTR @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 06:31 PM) I'm on MLB.tv, Rays announcers continue to refer to ozzie as "former ray" ozzie guillen. Last night on BBTN, John Kruk was talking about how when he was traded to the White Sox everyone was telling him that the AL was a breaking ball league.
  13. Huff fouls out to the AL's newest all star on the first pitch.
  14. 3rd walk of the day by Contreras...1st and 2nd, 2 outs, Aubrey Huff coming up as the tying run. Ozzie comes out and has a few words with Jose.
  15. Rooney and Farmer are saying again that it sure seems like Contreras is using his fastball a lot more today than last time out and he's challenging hitters more. Contreras -> "Throw the damn Fastball Jose!"
  16. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 06:22 PM) That was the worst baserunning I have ever seen!!! He had to think the throw was going home...if that were true it'd have been a good play.
  17. Sac fly by Uribe, Dye scores, Ozuna thrown out running to second...bad play by Pablo, but the run does count, 4-1 Sox.
  18. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 06:17 PM) the good people at www.nyyfans.com are outraged... TOO f***ING BAD!!! KISS MY ASS JETER!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL, they're b****ing about Gammons too.
  19. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 06:13 PM) Well we all know how good Steve Phillips was at putting together teams. Derek Jeter's salary this year: $19,600,000. Scott Podsednik's salary this year: $725,000 (after today). Of course Steve Phillips wants him. Anywho...how many times have we heard the ESPN announcers say that the game is "For the fans" when Mike Piazza gets voted in at catcher? If the game is for the fans...then they shouldn't have a damn thing to complain about, because the most fans won.
  20. We give the Count the lead...3 up and 3 down goes Tampa Bay.
  21. I love it when Frank takes a walk. Let's go Carl...Bring it!
  22. QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 05:50 PM) Now there are two more awards that should come our way Kenny for Exec of the year And the focking World Series ring Cy Buehrle. Manager of the Year Guillen Rolaids Relief Award Hermanson or Politte
