    I'd like to see the sox hang on to him. I don't think he's done yet, and I'm unsure how everyone else has come to this conclusion. I've thought this guy has been on the brink of irrelevance for 10 years now. I even ranted on here in 2005 to not pay him. I've come close to suicide watching him routinely hit weak ground balls to the shortstop since the day he started with us, and somehow he always comes back and redeems himself. I'm hoping he does it one more time. Unless there is more to the wrist injury that we don't know about, he deserves the benefit of the doubt. Konerko Rules.

    What has disappointed you most about this season?

     

    What excites you most about the White Sox going forward this year and in the years to come?

     

     

     

    Emphasis theirs.

     

    My answers to the first 2 were basically, "I can't stand the quality of play on the field, I'd rather watch the team lose but not make these silly errors than watch what we see now", "The defense and the mental errors", and "Chris Sale and this young, talented pitching staff".

    I just hope the next PBP guy isn't a former player. Get somebody in their 30's or 40's that will be here for a while, knows something about modern baseball, and can put the focus on the field, and not on themselves.

     

     

    Nobody understands baseball more than the players. If it were up to you, we might as well get a woman. "Modern Baseball" hahaha

    Thome is an assistant, not an advisor. Not to mention, I'm sure Hahn has already decided what his plan is for each player. Lord knows he's had all god damn season of watching this garbage.
