  1. Well here it is. Possibly the strangest wallpaper I've done so far. It was realy hard to mix the logo's and Gwen and come up with a cohesive image. Let me know if you want it altering (it's saved as a layered PDF file) and I'll do what I can.
  2. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 8, 2005 -> 03:20 PM) Just an observation and I could be wrong, but does it seem like there aren't that many pictures or images of the wreckage or the injured floating around? The media keeps showing the same few pics, especially the bus with it's top blown off and even that shot is from a far away distance. I know it wasn't a planned event and people were busy helping the injured and not taking pics, but still it seems kind of unsusual. There were 7 explosions and the same 15 photos keep floating around. Even the Madrid bombings seemed to have more footage. I could be wrong. There were 4 bombs, the people from the trains were coming out of more than one station and so early reports thought that each station had been bombed. As to the need for more pictures, I'm unsure as to why they are needed, but todays papers are full of them. I have to say though that todays TV and Radio programmes have not had wall to wall coverage, I do feel this shows how we in Britain will take this in our stride. While it goes without saying that this is a massive tradgedy and my thoughts are with the freinds and familys of the dead and injured, as I mentioned in an earlier post; we have been here before, got through it and moved on. This is the only way to beat these terrorists. ( Admin - I realy could do with a UK smilie at this point!)
  3. Timo who? Nice to meet you.
  4. I quote; Behold Britain now, ablaze with fear and terror, horrified from its north to its south, from its east to its west. Er hardly. May I refere these tossers to my previous comments.
  5. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 06:28 PM) It's amazing how calm the Londoners seem. I'd like to remind those responsible for this; we are GREAT Britain, we will not panic, there will be no mass histerics, we will remain calm and your actions have not had the effect you hoped for. (Where is that damn Union Jack smilie!) Regarding suicide bombers, the local news recons that the bus bomb was set of by one. I can only hope that the gates were locked.
  6. QUOTE(Y2HH @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 05:26 PM) Here is my other idea... A similar picture but with Podsenik and Ozzie, black & white type of photo with the words Flash & Sizzle in a transparant way over the picture. Can ya help with something like that? No problem, but it will probably take me about a week to get to. Can anyone else help sooner?
  7. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 05:16 PM) How is the mood of the rest of the country over there now? Hope none of your loved ones were affected in any way, and our hearts out to the victims and their families. Everyone I know is fine thanks. Credepopsup however is from London. I just hope that the only reason he hasn't posted yet is that he's stuck in town trying to get home, all transport is closed. As to the mood here, I guess it's one of shock and anger. Part of me is relieved that it's finaly happened, I've been expecting it for a while, and that it wasn't any worse. I hate to think what it would have been like had it happened last weekend while Live 8 was on. Sadly this is nothing new for people of my age, we had much worse happen during the 70's, 80's and 90's and the troubles with the IRA. Now as then, I have one message for those chicken s*** lowlifes who carried this out; Britain is strong, Britain will NOT be cowed down by these acts, Britain will NOT let these acts cause us to turn on each other; decent people of all faiths will NOT be scapegoated in retribution for these acts, These terrorists will not win, I and all I know will go about our business as normal. This is the only way to beat these idiots. Once again, Britain is strong.
  8. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 08:37 AM) Would be perfect if the grey around their heads was transparent, of course I don't know how to do that. PM me and I'll tell you how.
  9. QUOTE(Y2HH @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 04:31 PM) Crap, I see someone as a similar signature already. Rowand44, that bum. ;D Yeah sorry, nice isn't it. Come up with another idea and I'll help you out.

  11. QUOTE(MattZakrowski @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 07:40 AM) Having been there, I say put the games in Amsterdam. I know what your thinking, but it's a beautiful city. LMAO
  12. Nice job, welcome to soxtalk.
  13. QUOTE(farmteam @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 02:44 AM) Hey, if King George III won, you'd be rooting for the Chicagoshirehamstead Pale Knickers. LMAO
  14. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 11:59 PM) That's funny. England Defeats Paris. Kind of Like Dewey Defeats Truman, except true. No, No, London beat Paris, Britain beat France. How I love typing that. It's just like King George the 3rd beating Paul Revere and his mates.............er no maybe not
  15. What's all this talk about haggis, we got the Olympics! We beat Madrid, we beat New York, we beat Maoscow and we beat PARIS. The food here is as diverse and as good as anywhere else in the world, no worse no better, but just as good. For that matter my teeth are as good as any of yours ( relating to a different forum ) as is my eyesight and my hearing. However my dress sense and the overall British sense of style is far superior to the average Americans. Likewise my understanding of the word irony. (no please don't go and look it up) Anyway rant over. God it is good to be British for once, and did I mention we beat the French?
  16. My daughter already did herself a wallpaper of Gwen. I guess I could have a go for you to see if I can improve on hers. I won't be able to get to it for a few days though as I have some other stuff in the pipeline, so if anyone else wants to do it that's ok with me.
  17. I am going on holiday (vacation to you none English speaking folk) to France in a couple of weeks. I'd better take my own soap and water because we all know those French people never wash, don't we?
  18. I thought I'd have a go. What do you think? Freddy

  21. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jul 4, 2005 -> 10:50 PM) Awesome. Hmm..I'm horrible with phrases. You could use the HR call. "You can put it on the board" Mmmmmm not bad, can anyone else think of anything?
  22. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jul 4, 2005 -> 10:13 PM) Definitely my favorite one you've done. Could you make a Frank like that? Thanks guys. I'll have a go at Frank soon. Can you think of a tag line?
  23. Well I hope you like this one more than the last couple, this one took a while to get to this stage. Don't be shy, I would love feedback, either posotive or negative, it's all appreciated.
