Jeffery was a good pick. You wont find many people disagreeing with that one. The other two though were classic Angelo. I get the feeling Emery is the same as Angelo where he wont upgrade the offensive line until it becomes absolutely imperative.

Alright, its impossible to like this pick. Unless you the world's biggest homer you cannot agree with drafting a guy who hasn't played competitive football in more than a year and a half over a bunch of guys who could've helped Jay Cutler's head stay on straight.

This team had way too many needs on offense to go straight defensive line in the 1st two rounds.

Well its a little stupid to spend the 19th overall pick on a backup when we have glaring holes elsewhere. If they want to take a risk on some small school prospect with no upper body strength in the 2nd round, and you've addressed bigger needs (Offensive Line) already it would be hard not to be OK with it. And Emery doesn't get the benefit of the doubt, that's not how this works. The Bears window, if it isn't closed already, is closing fast... frankly I'd fire the guy outright for pulling a move this stupid when there were clearly better players available. I know I'm in the minority on that, but already I'm sick and tired of Emery.

We didn't have two good guards, or two good tackles, or two good WR's. Izzy and Peppers can both play, we know this much, this team had bigger problems.

I think insurance for our very injury prone OL, with definite future potential as a good starter, far outweighs the Bears desire to have a strong 3 DE rotation.

Two words: Dan Bazuin. This guy we drafted will barely play at all. Clay Matthews hurts the Bears even in the offseason.

So when Chris Williams' back explodes or some other injury befalls him it doesnt turn into another circus on the offensive line.

Bears way overestimated their offensive upgrades this offseason. Horrible pick, its not like we ever draft s*** in the 1st round anyways but I thought it'd be different with Emery. Pretty let down, f***ing Bears.
