  1. hope they've got someone up. gordon's having a game
  2. Peavy's pitched over mistakes and gotten ahead consistently. Looks good to me.
  3. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 19, 2011 -> 06:07 PM) Bad throw by Beckham...threw it right into the runner who was going on the pitch. Thrown too hard. hardly. lexi's a p****
  4. QUOTE (IowaSoxFan @ Jul 19, 2011 -> 02:48 PM) I think Teahen is being put out there to raise any value he may have in a trade. The Brewers are looking for a 3B and Teahen is good enough to play in the National League everyday. If Marcum is out long term I could see Teahen going with Jackson. I would love to see Teahen gone but I see no sense in trading away a pitcher. The 6 man rotation is working, why f*** with it.
  5. Holy s***...he's getting worse: @STATS_MLB STATS LLC #WhiteSox OF Dunn would need hits in his next 15 ABs just to raise season avg. to .200. He has 15 hits in his last 125 ABs (.120).
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 19, 2011 -> 12:12 PM) Greg, Peavy vs Duffy is not a huge Sox advantage on paper. Peavy's ERA as a starter this year is 5.68 I think for many there is the idea of Jake Peavy - cy young winner, bulldog, K machine -- and the reality of Jake Peavy (injury riddled 5.68 ERA back-end rotation pitcher)
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 19, 2011 -> 10:26 AM) So wait, today's lineup is going to include Juan Pierre Brent Morel Adam Dunn Tyler Flowers Alex Rios That's not exactly what I'd call scary. I don't think Pierre is supposed to play today. Bet it's Lillibridge. Scary enough?
  8. Dunn is going nowhere lower than 4th in the lineup. In fact, wouldn't be at all surprised to see him in there today since Ozzie says he's giving AJ and JP a day off (yes, he hits better against LH pitching, but stats are for fans).
