  1. The hottest chics, are your everyday girls away from Hollywood and all that fake s***. I vote for them.
  2. Every team has the problems. Thats just a pathetic excuse Jerry probably likes to use. He has talent out there. In fact, going into 2003, the sox were known to have one of the best pens in baseball. JUST GIVE THEM THEIR ROLES AND KEEP THEM THERE................GEEZ, this aint rocket science. it doesn't wash, bmr. but what ever. It washes for every good manager with talent. WE just happen to have an average manager with talent. botch, white, and who is or can be the everyday #5 starter? cmon think before you talk. Let me spell this out for you. When players, or anyone for that matter, are used properly, they perform better. Rick White and Billy Koch have a history of being successful.
  3. i dont claim to be an expert at managing baseball teams. However, i have managed people for years, with outstanding results. Those people need to be believed in, encouraged and given a role. Without a specific role, they tend to wander aimlessly. Baseball players are not exempt to that.
  4. I like Carl, but he is an absolute butcher in CF. Its ugly........... He is too big, he is too slow, to reach many of the balls center fielders should reach......

  7. The closest thing i can get to seeing a sox game is walking up to the sports book , and watching the game, with no sound.
  8. It's also fantasy to think that the numbers you just posted will translate the same way in the ML's as they do in AA. Well said, thank you.
  9. Well.....considering my high opinion of myself lol.......well yeah it was a compliment.
  10. Everyone needs a role, and stick to that role. Thats all JM has to do, to fix his managing flaws in the pen.
  11. Personally, I just cant agree with you hsc. You may not LOVE a certain player, but as a REAL fan, i find it IMPOSSIBLE to have the negativity you have towards some of these players. I cheer for them all, and once they leave the field, i still see them as part of MY whitesox. Hating a player on a team you love, just makes no sense at all. Also, it TOTALLY clouds your judgement of those players, and sorry to say, we can all see that in you.
  12. Exactly! In 4 or 5 starts, Neal Cotts would be like a sneak attack on opposing hitters. By the time they start to figure him out, he's gone. This is baseball, Not the middle east.
  13. What about Koch for the last month makes you think he can close? Gee i dunno, i prefer past history. Mark my words. Koch will be back and closing by september, UNLESS DW comes in and takes the job. i don't think you take a division contending team and try to experiment with a new closer in the last 2 months of the year, but that's just me...then again we don't have an established closer really, so it's not like he'd be taking anyone's job.... Uh yeah, we have no choice but to experiment. We HAVE no closer right now.

  15. By the way, here are my current choices for sox closer. 1 Wright 2 Koch 3 Marte
  16. My advice would be to stay friends, because thats all a long distance relationship is anyway. If you ever move near eachother, pursue it then.

Ok. Can i borrow a knife?
  18. ummm can you read? HE explained there is a huge difference in walking players once u get to the majors. umm, Bmr can you read? Cotts walk rate has fallen considerably. He is not the same pitcher he was in the first half of the season. Well then nevermind, bring up the next Sandy Koufax immediately!!! You are an idiot Bmr........ There is no question about it..... Was that a compliment?
  19. That ain't bad at all Certainly the numbers you'd like to see if you want to make him your closer However the question remains, why in the hell can't he keep his 1st inning pace (or near it) over 5, 6 innings? Ask Eric Gagne. Thats a great point. However, DW is no gagne. Gagne has killer stuff.

  21. Lets see, strikeouts mean nothing, walks mean a lot. I dotn care about strike outs. He needs to cut down on his walks before he can come to the majors. Its quite simple.

  23. This is not a topic you should debate. You know nothing. Have a great day.
