People i said experts. I dont need people to point out the mistakes i have made. Ummm i think i am well aware of those okay? Jesus.. You should have known ahead of time that dating a co-worker and/or employee is a bad, bad, bad, bad idea. Stupid stereotype. Jim and I have a wonderful relationship and the bumps that others "tried" to put in the way made us laugh. Bmr's experience seems to be more of the ex being a b****. Not all work relationships end up that way.

Exactly LDF. Unless you can prove that it's effecting you in some adverse way, there might be little you can do about it.

LOL.. I gasped because it looked like he threw his hardest to get it there. Overall, he looks good though. Got a chance to talk to him before the game and he seems like a really nice guy. Very grounded. Extremely humble. Let's hope he stays that way.

Crowd looked decent enough to me. The Futures Game has never sold out, as far as I know. This was my 3rd one. Crowd seemed bigger then last years, IMO. And those that were there were into it. The Celeb game was fun, too. Some really funny moments with Bo. Standing O's to most of the players. Classy crowd there. I'm sure tomorrow there will be some assholes booing. dont have to worry about assholes being there steff.. they cant afford to go....... MLB sure rakes it in, don't they? Exactly and if I hear ONE more person blaming the Sox and JR for s*** they don't like about this game I'm going to slap them, too. I'm sure the hosting team does quite well when hosting an All-Star game, and the Sox will make out well. But in All-Star Games, Playoffs and the World Series, MLB is in charge. They set ticket prices and they control the revenues. I would think those revenues are split amongst the clubs somehow, but MLB is the lead dog here. I think the biggest payoff for them is the 15% of the gate. That's an average of $22.50 for each seat. I have no idea about the food concessions. Of course everything with the AS logo MLB gets most of that I'm sure. I did ask who got the parking and was told the Sox got the normal on that (split with the workers). But security is there earlier then usual. And the grounds crew has been there non-stop since Thursday. There's definitely more staff there. But even with the added costs, the Sox make out I'm sure.

I know I'm late on this one but he didn't get over 87 and I think he only tossed one at that. Most were in the low to mid 80's and we did gasp when he hurled one at a stellar 69 mph!!

They wanted me to quit.. you were forced to resign... isn't that the same thing..? And my case was NOTHING because they "wanted" me fired. Anyone can want anyone fired. It was because they were defimating me. And it was while employed. And it did effect my job and the way agents treated me. And I had agents willing to testify for me. So really unless what is being said is effecting you personally (from getting another job, bad rep in the workforce, etc..) you might not have a case anyway. Regardless, talk to someone.

By 5 it was pretty full. Upper corners even filled in nicely. Not sold out though. Miller Park wasn't and neither was Boston. Started to thin out in the 2nd inning of the Celeb game. It was a loooooong day. My point.. it wasn't half empty. There were 30K fans there.

Jim and I were (and kinda still are) in a similar situation. Since the company was bought by the agents they have been assholes. In the begining there was a lot of rumors, etc.. then at the convention there was a lot of concrete evidence people were talking s***. They wanted me to quit BAD, because they knew if they fired me they were in some deep s***. Finally I went to HR and told them that I felt "uncomfortable" at work and that unless the BS quit there was going to be some trouble (for the record I did not say it like that I was very professional about the entire thing). I did talk to an attny and I was told flat out that since there was no policy on dating co-workers unless you reported directly to them or vice versa that just me being "uncomfortable" was enough to file a suit against them. I didn't. I like my job and there really was no point - just money and they never would have apologized which is what I wanted. But I could have had their asses. Go talk to one regardless. IMO, you should have even without something else happening.

My sister was with her and saw it live so I'm believing them.
