[I can't believe I missed that!]

Was watching the "Malice at the Palace" game between the Pacers and Pistons but turned off the tv during the 4th quarter... needless to say sportscenter the next morning was a bit shocking

i'm sure none of you remember this, but sometime last summer i came here saying i was starting a band and we were gonna try out some rhcp stuff. well, i figured i'd give an update, and do some shameless advertising of some videos we put up...

 

last weekend we played a show outside a hotel here in downtown columbus. we got lucky because our bassist's dad is in a local cover band, and they said they'd let us open for them. We ended up playing three songs, starting with "purple stain" by rhcp, then we played an original called "ain't my scene", then we closed with "give it away". it was a lot of fun and we think it went well, so here's the videos... (i'm the singer, be gentle... haha)

All I can say is "WOW!". That's the movie of the year right there for me. I just can't say enough about how The Joker could leave you deeply disturbed while making you laugh at everything he says.... The other actors certainly didn't disappoint either!

Kelso back? Way to supply us the episodes out of order. That episode was completely f***ing terrible, and there were only a couple of parts that were remotely funny. I've enjoyed the theme episodes before... sitcom, musical, etc, but this one was terribly indefensible.

 

I wholeheartedly agree, that could very well have been the worst episode in the entire series...

I don't have a link or anything, but I've heard some rumors about a Rambo video game...does anybody know if there is any truth to these?

Saw "Rambo" tonight, and I thought it was great. It took enough time to develop a storyline at the beginning (matters to some, not too much to me, it's a Rambo movie), the dove into the action. After that first kill, I was on the edge of my seat the rest of the way. Also, great ending.

It hit the concourse, which is amazing.

 

The only thing I've seen even close to that was Terrero's homer (in person!) this year into LF which came this/close to landing in the beer stand under the kids' deck. I've never seen a ball hit that far in the current Sox park; not by Frank, not by Thome, nobody.

I went to a game wher Frank hit one 495 feet, onto the left field concourse. I think Terrero's hr was estimated at 455 or something like that
