  1. If lll State were too do something in the tourney, they would get plenty of offers from top squads.
  2. QUOTE (ScottPodRulez22 @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 06:37 PM) You know why the SOS sucks? Because BCS schools fear playing good midmajors because of the fact they might lose. They'd rather pay a school to come to their stadium to lose. um that is not true at all. no one had ever heard of Ill State before this year for the most part. I am sure KU will schedule with Ill State very soon.
  3. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 06:34 PM) You mean you aren't impressed by Illinois St. beating a team that is only a game over .500 in the MVC. haha nope. Ill State fans remind me of KU football fans before Mangino. They go 4-0 in non conference, beating the Sam Houston states and NW Louis States of the world. Then they get into conference, beat the relatively easy teams at home, and lose most road games. Usually this time of the year, the nationa pundits will start talking about the power of the mid majors. I have not heard a peep about the MVC. Yes, I know the national pundits are clueless.
  4. QUOTE (ScottPodRulez22 @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 06:32 PM) Can I laugh at your Illinois State and MVC clueless bias then? You don't go 17-3 when your not good. I watch all college basketball, and I can tell you your right that U of I would beat ISU and so would the top teams in all the other major conferences, but that does not mean ISU is bad. I could still easily see ISU winning their first round game in the NCAA tourney if they make it there, and possibly even their second. Which would be great for a team like ISU. The MVC is just not that good this year. have you seen your SOS?
  5. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 06:28 PM) Beating Creighton by 22 didn't do it for ya? uh, no
  6. QUOTE (ScottPodRulez22 @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 06:12 PM) Your mad at shoe because he is throwing his opinion out on the Big Ten and U of I without watching their games. Yet your doing the exact same thing with Ilstu. I am not mad, I am laughing at his clueless bias. I absoultely hate Illanoy, but I can tell you that they are a very talented team. Come find me when Ill State beats somebody with a wow factor.
  7. QUOTE (ScottPodRulez22 @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 06:07 PM) They played a terrible terrible second half, and yet still won by 8. You should have watched them during the first half. I'll listen to your opinion on Illinois State after you have watched more then 1 half of basketball. Ok I love watching the NIT tourney.
  8. QUOTE (ScottPodRulez22 @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 06:01 PM) You know your just as bad as kjshoe, but on the opposite end of the Ilstu spectrum. You mean the spectrum that watches all bball teams and can evaluate and knows how to cheer for a winning team. I went from watching the Illini to that game, haha it would not even be close.
  9. QUOTE (farmteam @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 04:39 PM) Sadly, I'm not sure if that's a reference to the movie or this year's team. ahh good point, the movie
  10. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 03:52 PM) Brackins scores 41 and we were only in the game a couple of times. The supporting cast is bad. Yeah he was sick, could make anything today. The rest of the cast looks like hoosiers, three pointers and slow. Little and Collins and Aldrich kept it going.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 03:12 PM) Ramon Harris, a starter on Kentucky, collapsed in the locker room at halftime and Gillespie went with him to the hospital. Judging by the Kentucky board, it's quite serious. oh jesus, pray for his health.
  12. KU beats Iowa State to go 4-0 in the Big 12. I mean KU beat Brackins to go 4-0 in the Big 12. Heads, that cyclones team is god awful minus Brackins. Lets go Badgers
  13. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 02:33 PM) Even if SIU loses tonight, I just hope they play good and keep it close. With all the strides they have made to get better, it would suck to get blown out. what is with you MVC fans, I get pissed at every loss.
  14. So when Illanoy wins the big 10 and ISU hosts a home court NIT game will you give up this stupid assertion.
  15. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 03:36 PM) So you mean me. . The MVC is the only conference I follow. I can only compare it to previous years. ISU is still probably the best team in the league until someone proves that they can even hang with them at home. Road losses happen in this league. Even to s***ty teams. The Indy St. loss was bad but Osiris was sick. Without him and Champ playing well they are very average. You only follow MVC bball. As you should, there is nothing out there at all. The Big 12 looks like freshman AAU ball The big 10 is like high school womens hoops The big east is like Jew Ball at the local JUF. No wonder you think IL State is the best team in Illinois, you have not seen anyone else. I
  16. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 02:18 AM) Well technically he hasn't signed yet, high school players can't sign until February 4th. Not sure if that is what he was talking about or not though. I know that, the original link did not have verbal in his profile. The article should clear up that confusion. Nothing to see hear, move along!
  17. http://www.kansascity.com/167/story/996990.html geez, why would I lie about KU football recruiting.
  18. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 08:48 PM) dont lump me in there Let me retract that statement. I meant ISU fans, sorry SIU boys.
  19. KU signs Bradle Mcdougald, a 4 star Safety out of Ohio http://kansas.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?...mp;pr_key=79362 wow, Mangino is turning this around.
  20. I read that too, it was not dharma uniforms.
  21. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 12:32 AM) The MVC is stacked this year. I don't care what the national pundits say. It is good from top to bottom. 16-3. Pretty solid record still. 16-3 looks good in a big conference with a tough schedule, not with a horrid RPI and losses to really bad teams. Very simple, it is looking like 1 team will come from the MVC this year. But, I forgot that Ill State players can walk on water. This is going to be an awesome NCAA tourney, lots of parity, and no favorites. As I have stated previously, Illanoy is the best team in the Big 10. Michigan State played like crud against an inexperienced KU team that played for the first time on the road. This season is getting good! Heads, I think KU is in for a rude awakening this weekend. Though, Mario Little is starting to show why he is the number 1 JUCO player in the nation. If you can stop Cole and Sherron, victory is yours.
