  4. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 09:27 PM) And who really cares what is going on with someone's fantasy team on this site? Unless several of us are in the same league you might as well tell me about your stamp collecting hobby. actually i was just gonna tell you how my knitting class went today.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 09:26 PM) Sorry, don't take it personally. I just hate when people state stuff about how someone doing good against the White Sox is good for their fantasy team. a wise man once told me, if your gettin' raped, might as well lean back and enjoy it.
  6. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 09:25 PM) Since I'm always the optimist, at least the Yankees are losing 5-0 right now.

  9. QUOTE(beautox @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 09:14 PM) yeah you know that 4.67ERA and 3 blown saves, that makes him the best closer in the NL..... i hope you were just listening to Gammons words. they were about the most intelligent thing the guys ever said.
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 09:12 PM) I don't think KW gave up as much as he did in order to bring in a high-priced 5th starter. awww forget Javy, lets just get back Scott Schoenweis
  11. QUOTE(beautox @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 09:11 PM) I like the way you think, have lidge come in to get some work and light him up. yeah, not like he's the best closer in the NL or anything like that.
  12. QUOTE(Capn12 @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 09:09 PM) What a f***ing joke of a pitching performance tonight, all around. Montero, how the hell do you get to stay here over Tracey??
  13. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 09:01 PM) How can Vazquez have a chance for a win if he's taken out of the game? Pathetic start by Vazquez tonight. its a shame because his slider is slidin tonight. he just chose bad pitches to give Berkman and Lamb. otherwise, he did great. but o well, im lookin forward to beatin some Pirate ass. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 09:03 PM) NOW WARMING FOR THE WHITE SOX ...... bwwwaaahahahahahhahaa

QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 10:21 PM) Considering Tracey only facing one batter, I think it's a sure thing he was mad at him. Ozzie came off as a reall tool.

QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 10:13 PM) First of all, he shouldn't have to tell anybody on his team to do anything. They should know. Not only did Vazquez not plunk a guy, he didn't even make them move their feet. And I'm talking about after Pierzynski was hit the first time. There was no mistake IMO about Padilla's intent either time, but especially the first. That, to me, was a no doubter. Where is Vazquez the very next inning? No warning had been issued yet. Maybe getting drilled will give Pierzynski the idea that it's a good idea to pitch the opposition inside. Everything Vazquez got hurt on tonite was due to him throwing pitches on the outer half. The Sox starters need to do a lot better job establishing the inside strike, and part of that is the catcher's responsibility. It's a team game and lots of guys didn't do their jobs tonite. the pitchers also have every right to shake off any pitches that AJ calls for.
