Is this a fact that the Sox have Pods through '08?

I would absolutely take Pods over Granderson or Freel anyday. Granderson hasn't proven anything, and neither has Freel. Freel's highest SB total in his career is 36. Without Pods, no world series last year, no question. How many times will this guy have to prove people wrong before they believe?? Not to mention he arguably has the biggest hit in Sox history

He is an adequate left fielder, and is one of the top 5 leadoff men in the game.... will everybody chill the hell out and be patient.... we are hardly 20 games into the season, and he is just catching fire now.

I admit that Pods may not be as complete of a player than some of the guys in the farm system have the potential to be.... but what he specializes in is perfect for the leadoff role, and for what the sox need with their style of play. I can almost guarantee that Pods would exceed any players in the farm system in SB and sacrifices any given year. In this sense, he is far more valuable than any player they could bring up in his place at this point in time.

Do you think we will re-sign pods after next year? Or do you think owens' speed will be sastisfactory? If we lost Pods, I'd be furious.

Sorry to hear it buddy, if I were to leave this place in any piece of clothing, it would have to be my Pods jersey.

What a damn joke. I love how the Sox still aren't getting much national love. At least we can saw we are the few and the proud. We all know that Aaron should have taken it over Hunter. 92 games played, gimme a damn break! Aaron will just have to prove himself to everybody all over again next year.

Do you think they will re-sign him? Or would I be better off getting just a plain Sox jersey with no name?

Hey, I'm thinking about getting an authentic Pods jersey. I was just wondering if anybody knows what his contract with the Sox is. I don't want him leavin the club the year after I buy this pimp ass piece of clothing.
