I saw this rumor out there: "Reports now indicate that now the Chicago White Sox may be the third team involved in the Tejada deal. The trade would have to be something like this: The Cubs get Tejada and cash , and Baltimore gets Contreras, Garland, and OF prospect Ryan Sweeney from the White Sox, and the White Sox get Prior and a prospect from Baltimore." It's no secret Kenny Williams has been trying to move Jon Garland, who's already turned down at least one contract extension. This deal would greatly improve Baltimore's rotation giving them two front of the rotation starters in one shot. It would also give the White Sox more room financially to sign Buehrle to an extension after the '07 season." What do you think?
  2. Appearing on ESPN News,Tim Kurkjian said that the White Sox and Rangers are discussing a trade that would send 3B Hank Blalock to the Sox for P Jon Garland and 3B Joe Crede.
  3. I think Kenny should do this. Getting Vazquez would not be that big of down grade. You have to keep in mind Contreras and Garland both can walk after this season. This would give us something back, we will not get anything but a couple of draft picks if they walk. Trading one of the two would allow the White Sox to concentrate on signing the other next offseason. It would be hard for the Sox to sign two of the better free agents next offseason. I would rather it be Contreras in the deal, since he is older and more of a risk long term
