God I wish I could get paid MILLIONS of dollars to do absolutely nothing like most of the guys on the Sox.

QUOTE(santo=dorf @ May 6, 2007 -> 04:01 PM) please. KW was supposed to sign TWO major league caliber backup catchers this offseason? KW was the one who put Hall in at first late in a meaningless ST game? Kenny definitely did the right thing in signing Hall. It's the fact that he did NOTHING to upgrade any of the other HUGE holes we had/have.

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ May 6, 2007 -> 03:59 PM) What do you mean "sad statement but actually probably true"? Definitely and absolutely true. Cintron should be DFA'd. Its sad because Uribe's D isn't really as good as people here have you believe.

How the hell do we honestly manage only 2 hits in 6 innings?

Do we seriously have nothing better in our minor league system than Gustavo Molina? NOTHING?! Not even a single person who can hit the ball 2 out of 10 times? Come ON!

Brian Anderson, Royal Guard Thomias Cooper I started the MRF in 2001 working for CKC in one of the Travelers Carts selling the official merchandise of the fair, as you see you can take the person out of the cart but you can't remove the training from the man. I worked for CKC at the same cart through 2004. During that off season I was recruited by and joined the Royal Guard for a fantastic 2005 season. It was one of the best years I have had at fest and am looking forward to many more years to come with the guard. [submitted 11/12/2005]

QUOTE(caulfield12 @ May 6, 2007 -> 03:40 PM) You can argue that AJ, Iguchi and Dye are all getting older, but Konerko and Crede? You can argue that we're all getting older Just playing. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ May 6, 2007 -> 03:39 PM) Tito, what is that awful avatar? Brian Anderson.

Uribe 2006: .235/.257/.441 Uribe 2007: .224/.299/.408 s*** is still s***. The guy can't hit and he shouldn't be on a major league team. But with that said, we have no backups who can either. More failure on KW.

QUOTE(santo=dorf @ May 6, 2007 -> 03:36 PM) Erstad has been an offensive upgrade over Anderson. I imagine Hall healthy would be an offensive upgrade over Widger/Alomar. Pods was playing better this year than 2006. Uribe is better this year than 2006. So how is it KW's fault that Konerko, Dye, Iguchi and Crede aren't hitting? Was he supposed to trade all 4 of them and bring someone else in? Wait, how is Uribe better than in 2006?

I vote this offense as the worst offense of all-time. Book it. None of these hitters finish the season sniffing .275.

QUOTE(Dick Allen @ May 6, 2007 -> 03:06 PM) Buerhle better not give up more than 1 or 2 runs today. I don't see how anyone can blame Walker if this particular line-up doesn't score off Colon. If he even gives up ONE run, we're going to lose. He better f***ing shut them out.
