  1. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 07:06 PM) Herm has a BIF. A butt in front. More like two.
  2. Holy s*** we have a fatass trainer!
  3. Correction, these UMPS suck. Oh-eh-oh, Maggggglio!
  4. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 06:52 PM) cltv throughout Chicago, suburbanite. I have no idea what they chose CSN+ to be in Chicago, as I have never watched television there.
  5. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 06:51 PM) mackowiak would've left his feet to make that catch And it would have looked damn good!
  6. Must be a lot of Cubs fans in the house tonight. QUOTE(IndySoxFan @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 06:50 PM) what channel is the game on? CSN+. CLTV in the NW suburbs.
  7. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 06:46 PM) Enrique Diego Mata Bata Cola was a contemporary of Hawk's in the Venezuelan winter leage whose career was tragically cut short by a sawed off bat. Ahahahahahahahahahha. That made my day. Outside, outside, outside. Hmm. Where have I seen this before? Freddy is getting some serious luck right here.
  8. What the f*** is a mata bata cola?
  9. Sweet first pitch out for a hitter struggling at the plate!
  10. Widger is good. Nice swing Widge! I wonder if Pablo can play catcher, because Widger can't. Oh, and he sucks at batting.
  11. 31 through 3. He ate his Wheaties this morning.
  12. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 06:37 PM) According to CSN's radar gun Bedard is consistently hitting 97 mph and Freddy is routinely hitting 87-88. Not even an additional 3-4 mph on a fastball can make his velocity look good. I believe something is definitely wrong with him. Pot does some crazy things to you.
  13. QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 06:34 PM) yup-which is why hes an all-star..i wonder if the sox will pick up his option in the off season... I hope not, more wasted money. Freddy getting his pitches rocked.
  14. The ball Dyed in a hurry.
  15. This ump sucks. QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 06:28 PM) konerko k's.... Not in the real world.
  16. Wow this ump blows. Wow this ump blows.
  17. Lucky double play, s***!
  18. QUOTE(Dam8610 @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 05:33 PM) I take it A.J. will be in the clubhouse voting for himself the whole game. Worthless prick. Seriously though, can we get one good pitching performance? Just one? This is getting ridiculous. We might get "Widged" tonight... I really hope not.
  19. There is no doubt in my mind the pitching staff will turn it around. Not a single doubt. Maybe not all of them (Vazquez) as I think he might be dealt at the deadline, but this staff is way too damn skilled to not turn it up. We ALL know the Twins, Tigers, and even us will keep up this pace. Each of these teams will go on a losing streak at some point, and each will go on another winning rampage. We ALL KNOW its going to happen. I usually am one to jump the gun on things at impulse, but over time, I really have no worries for this team. The reason I am like that is because I am a diehard, and I live and die by this team. I have a feeling this thread might be one of those knee-jerk reactions.
  20. QUOTE(ChiSox35 @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 02:42 PM) "Thome doesn't need to risk an injury for a damn derby" This isn't soccer. I don't see a home run derby as a serious injury threat to Thome, and for the afore-mentioned reasons I'd rather see Thome in it than Dye. Ding Ding.
  21. Yeah, because injuries are so common in the home run derby. Them pitches hurt when they hit you!
  22. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 12:58 AM) Politte sucks. Last year was a fluke year. There was a stat last year showing he was the most dependent player on his defense. Well, if you keep the ball high, no way the defense will bail you out since the ball will be reaching the warning track at the very least. I really don't think you can say last year was a fluke. He was absolutely DOMINANT last year. It's not like he was just getting "lucky" for the entire year. He was just unbelievable. Sometimes, players just can't do it two years in a row, they run out of gas. But I think its very unfair to say last year was a fluke.
